Only stayed one night here, arriving around 7ish found a note on the reception door and our key in the door. We were very pleased with our room which was very clean and comfortable. decided to take a walk around but had to run back to our room after 5mins because of the amount of mozzies around. The owners are wonderful. The motel is simple, very clean, quiet and a nice 'get away from it all destination'. Nothing fancy here, no stress - - - just relax and enjoy the unique surroundings of Florida's Everglades. We had the room with kitchenette which was very handy and comfortable. more

My husband and I stayed at the Parkway Motel and Marina, in February for 2 days. No frills, just a great, cute little place in the non-touristy, non-strip mall part of Florida. The owners of the Parkway are wonderful- directed us to good places to eat and to go birdwatching. Bill also took the time to fill our rental car tire with air before we left- at 7AM! more
