My purpose for travel was medical in Gainesville. This was the closest available hotel for the football weekend in September, 2009. My adult son & daughter were with us so we had to have two rooms for them that were aired out (they are asthmatic). I must say the establishment was very cooperative & let them inspect the rooms until... more

This property is a great starting point for day trips into Florida swamps and carstic springs. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, my only complaint goes to the poor choice of breakfast items. more

Stayed for 3 nights July 04. Good clean room. The hotel is well located for local State Parks. The best Fanning Springs had good swimming in the 'sink hole' Nice hotel pool to reurn to and relax in. Poor and inconsistant breakfast choice. more
