Stayed one night while driving through Cedar Key. Motel is older, but is located right along the harbor and easy access to restaurants near by. (Cedar Key is very small, so nothing is all that far away.) Décor is dated and the beds could use replacing, but it was still very comfortable and had a real "old Florida" flavor. There... More

This little motel is a bit older - okay, a lot older. But, it is in a very good location and Lynn is very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a basic place to lay your head and enjoy Cedar Key, then this place will work for you. It is older but clean and has ample parking. One... More

I gave this motel an average rating only because of the location. We could walk to the pier, beach, etc. We were promised a room with a fridge. Instead they loaned us an ice chest. The interior was very musty smelling and there appears to have been no maintenance for years. Like I said a step above a Costa Rican... More

Just returned from a spur-of-the-moment trip from Jacksonville to Cedar Key with no reservations. We tried two hotels which were booked, and were referred to this little motel as being a clean, no-frills mom-and-pop hotel. That's exactly what it was. The manager was expecting us and had a room open for us to look at. It had twin beds with... More

You can't beat the price, hospitality and atmosphere of this little gem. The Inn is an older, no-frills place, but the rooms are clean and Mrs. Lynn, one of the innkeepers, is precious. We love the 2nd story porches, one where you can see Dock Street in the distance, and the other right on 2nd Street. Great location; quick walk... More

The Cedar Inn is a small, old fashioned type, two-story motel in downtown Cedar Key FL. The rooms are old-fashioned with a small bathroom and a small TV. I stayed there in May 2012. The staff is friendly and polite, but no room service is available. The ice machine was broken so ice was obtained out of an ice cooler... More

Great location and friendly staff made the stay at Cedar Inn worth while. It is a bit dated property, but you can walk everywhere and it was very quiet. Thanks for being a great host!
