Large spacious site for our 38 ft motorhome. Upon arrival, they furnished a nice outdoor rug. The sunset was amazing and also a fun gathering of people at the tiki bar. The grounds are whimsical and well kept. If you are looking for a laid back getaway.....this is it!

Having long weekend-tripped to Cedar Key for 20+ years (got engaged in town back in the 90's), we stumbled upon this place---specifically the Tiki Bar this time around. Obviously, unless you fly into the island Caribbean-like airport via your own plane, you have to drive right by this motel. We initially intended to bring our early teen kids with us,... More

Went to Low-Key Hideaway for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. What a great experience. Owners Pat and Cindy are the most gracious people you will ever want to meet. They made you feel so comfortable. Our room #3 was extremely clean and well appointed and a beautiful view of the water. Loved the Tiki Bar that we just walked... More

We've stayed here three times and keep coming back. The owners are friendly and really try to welcome you to their home. The views from the tiki bar or on their dock are better than Key West at Sunset. It is the perfect place to meet and get to know the locals of Cedar Key and travelers who are passing... More

We chose Low Key Hideaway based on the reviews here and were not disappointed. Although it is an old style "motel", the rooms were immaculately clean and well-kept. The view from their dock is unbelievable. The small grounds are beautiful. And the Hideaway Bar is a fun place to meet people (locals and tourists) and have a cocktail. Pat and... More

My husband and I decided to take our first vacation without our 2 year old last month and this place was EXACTLY what we needed. A lot of times we return from vacation feeling more tired than when we left because of all the things we felt like we needed to do or see while on vacation. Well not this... More

I've been here twice, and this place is amazing... a really nice couple that runs the place with their assistant, and they REALLY care about the value they have built into this 5 room joint... It really is LOW KEY... and if there was one place I could go back to time and again, I do believe it would be... More

Fantastic place to get a way and relax. Read a book, cook oysters & steaks or have a drink at the Tiki Bar. The place is a never ending wonder of fabulous ingenious decor from the parking lot paving to the sunsets on the deck. Would go again in a heart beat
