Cedar Key is a quaint little town situated on the Gulf in Central Florida. After seeing the pictures of the hotel on Cedar Cove Beach & Yacht Club's website, that was our expectation for our studio room located on the third floor. After visiting and being impressed by their website, we booked our room there several months in advance of... More

Just passing thru and wanted a little bit of old florida! We stayed in room 315. Views were wonderful but thousands could have been put into this room to get it up to date. Draperies were old, cabinets out of date, furniture winter like, very basic room. Would not stay again but loved the island

Was just driving through Cedar Key and decided to stay on the spur of the moment. The hotel was clean, the people friendly and the room was inexpensive. The views of the ocean were wonderful. The room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The bed was comfortable and sheets were new. The bathtub was out of order... More

Ended up in Cedar Key on a Wednesday night and was pointed toward this property. It was clean and comfortable with an excellent and friendly staff. Walking distance to alll downtown bars and restaurants and if you would like, golf cart rentals are available on site. My room had a kitchenette and a view of the marina. The hotel had... More

We recently stayed again at Cedar Cove Hotel ~ The new owner has redecorated all the rooms~ new furniture~ new towels & sheets. The place is the cleanest I have ever seen. The sunset from our balcony was breath taking. We ate at the Island Room Restaurant that is connected. All fresh catch ~ delicious clam chowder ~ best chef... More

Wonderful staff. Friendly faces from the moment you check in until you leave. I was on the top floor facing the ocean. I could not ask for a better view. The restaurant staff was second to none. We ate there 4 times over the weekend. The restaurant served made to order meals and not just the everything fried menu .... More

I always enjoy Cedar Cove. The property is older and they are constantly working on improvements. You don't go to Cedar Key to stay at the Ritz. The town is most likely similar to how it was 50-60 years ago...this is a small historic fishing village. Everything in the small town is walkable from the resort......shops, pizza, grocery, bars, etc.... More

Our unit, #209, fronted the Gulf and the view was marvelous. The unit was small but adequate for two people and comfortable. There is a major drawback though, the A/C is very noisy and needs to be replaced. When it came on it jarred your senses and was really troublesome trying to sleep. There were some other problems but nothing... More

Gina and her staff were very nice and helpful. You could tell that they really cared and wanted us to have a good time! The units are a bit older but VERY CLEAN and had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed in a unit (306) which overlooked the water. It was so nice to sit out on the... More

We stayed in Unit 313 (independently owned) and loved it! This unit is a loft overlooking a small bay area and the Gulf. The unit was very clean and decorated with an ocean theme. The floors were laminate wood, not carpet ( I really liked that since I have allergies). My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the balcony in... More
