We are here for a week, what a find. Unit is SUPER CLEAN!! Unit is small but we are only here late evening. We are off walking to nearby restaurants for breakfast and dinner. IF you enjoy "old Florida" pace and fresh seafood this is your kind of place! Tony's has great lunches --the shrimp is very lightly battered(3 years... More

I checked in to the Cedar Cove not knowing how long I would be in town. My check in that night was easy and the young lady at the office was very nice. I told her up front that I would be there at least two nights possibly three. The room was super clean, we rested very well that night... More

We never made it past check-in so I can't give a review on the room. We arrived in Cedar Key around 3 pm. Check-in is not until 4 pm but we thought maybe our room was ready so I stopped by to see. The woman at the front desk just gave me a rude "no, 4 pm", never even looked... More

Room was on the 3rd floor, with a nice view of the gulf. Bedroom was in a loft, up a winding staircase - once I went up at night, I never came down again. Kinda weird. Full mini kitchen. Newer furniture in LR and BR. Staff very nice, especially Casey (maintenance). Pool was refreshing. Beach area (only one on the... More

Small and cozy little place. Probably 36 condo/apartments. All fully appointed and a have small kitchens. I would call the property a 3 star in my own rating system. The property and rooms are constantly a work in progress. The staff is very accommodating and hospitable. I have been coming here for 10 years. The small town is historic and... More

The view is horrible, hot tub dry, workout room nothing to speak of, elevator inoperable. The rooms smell like the decaying sea life of the gulf. When the tide is out your surrounded by muck. The restaurant is actually very good with excellent wait staff. If you like to drink, be surrounded by fishing boats on trailers and don't mind... More

We rented our efficiency unit from a private owner on Craigslist and got a super deal. Comfortable bed, kitchen, balcony, elevator. The pool was great. We were there the night they left the music on all night. Outside of that, all was great if you are not looking for the Ritz-Carlton. Also, rented a golf cart from Milt on the... More

I'd heard of Cedar Key for years, and finally, I went. I drove the ten hours south without a stop, and with the top down the last 125 miles, off the freeway, and headed to seemingly nowhere. 2,000 (rounded up) has been the total population of Cedar Key for decades. There's little to no beach, islands + bays everywhere, which... More
