This restraunt hotel is a great little gem hidden in hernando county. The staff is very friendly and effiecient. The food is second to none be it from ribeye to seafood. Everything is always fresh and homeade. Highly recommend

This is a great place to eat, food an atmosphere is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this place. We had the best seafood here and our bill was actually less than red lobster. Sorry red lobster but you really need to get it fixed. I am from Ohio and love seafood, will defiantly eat here when in the area.

Stopped after the mermaid show for some seafood, reviews made it seem like the best thing since sliced bread! Couldn't be farther from the truth!! The place was at least 90 degrees! Food was generic and the server had no clue about the menu! It might be good for the locals, I feel sorry for you!! Don't go!!!

Don't know about the inn, but we ate at the restaurant. Kinda Cool!! We were there after dark, and sat outside near the Gulf inlet under the tent....neat. Torches helped keep the bugs away. Large crowd - lots of noise and fun.....but the best part was the food. Fish & chips - all you can eat for $ 9.95! Prepared... More

My wife and I were exploring the Gulf Coast and ran across this local motel, diner, restaurant, and lounge. We shared a broiled platter consisting of fish, scallops, and shrimp. All were perfectly prepared and very fresh. I cannot comment on the motel, since we only stopped for a meal. The biggest drawback for me is its location. I had... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but the iconic atmosphere & food were wonderful. My wife even asked for their salad dressing recipe. (they make their own everyday) I had the shrimp, scallops & cod dinner & it was more than I could eat. The small beer mugs@ 8-10oz for $2.50 have a real nice, "back in time feeling". We... More

Not very fashionable on the outside, but great value for dinner. Locals know about their Thursday night prime rib special, can't be beat for value and taste - cheaper than making it at home. Didn't know it was a hotel, probably means the little cabins on site, never went inside so can't say.

My husband and I went to Bayport Inn because we heard it was a good place to eat. The staff and waitress were very friendly. The salad we each got was a joke! It was bowl of iceberg lettuce with ONE 1/4 chunk of tomato and ONE 1/4 slice of cucumber in it. The bread served to us was stale... More

Although we didn't stay at this hotel, we had a great dinner at this restaurant. The area is overwhelmed with the usual large chain restaurants and were looking for something local. This is a good choice. The online menu is accurate, the wait staff are friendly and attentive, the food is reasonably priced and delicious. We all had seafood and... More
