This resort has direct access to the snowmobile trails of the area, super friendly staff, great food, and a laid back atmosphere. Our group of 8 was well accommodated. Of note, bath towels are not provided in cabins so you may want to pack some.

The food is always top notch. Eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, coffee, orange juice, friendly service and a great view! Jen and Gordon have a comfortable place on Lake Kabetogama. You will feel right at home the minute you walk in the door. Don't miss it!

We needed a place to stay for one night, and were in the Lake Kabetogama area without a plan. We came across the Sandy Point Lodge, and were able to get a cabin for one night. The dinner and breakfast we had there were excellent. The hosts were great. The marina-hands were very helpful.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay weather you are renting a cabin or a hotel room. Very clean. The food served is amazing. We love both Jen and Gordy. We have stayed there during the winter and have rented hotel rooms, which Jen has made the quilts by hand on the beds. We have also rented the cabins... More

A buddy and I stayed for a weekend this winter and went snowmobiling. The staff was very friendly, the room clean, and the food was outstanding. We'll definitely be back next year for another great time on the snow!

My husband and I stayed in the lodge last summer and it was perfect for us. We fished all day everyday so we really didn't spend time in our room. We also took advantage of the meal plan, the food was delicious.

We stayed here because it was listed in our "1000 Places" Book. It did not disappoint. The owners, Jennifer and Gordon, were very accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. Kayaks and canoes were available free for guests. Several motorized water craft for rent. When our boat tour was canceled by the Park Service, Jennifer took us on a tour... More

We recently stayed at the Sandy Point Lodge while vacationing at voyaguers National Park. Driving up to the lodge set back in the woods made it feel so remote. Then right on the lake - beautiful. The lodge itself was very nice, clean and pretty. (except for the May flies that they have no control over). Those flies were gross.... More

I spent four days at Sandy Point in August. The resort hosts Jennifer and Gordon are very accomodating to your requests. My cabin was perfect and clean. The views of Kab were excellant. The lodge's food is prepared by Jennifer. She is a master of creating cuisine that is top shelf! Gordon handles the customers out front. The entire staff... More

We just spent a week in cabin 1 and had a great time. We have been to Sandy Point before to eat in their delicious restaurant and this year decided to try out a cabin. We had no complaints. If you like home-cooking this is the place. We caught some great fish on Lake Kabetogama. We will definitely be back... More
