Our bungalow was absolutely beautiful. It was warm, cozy and romantic. We had a great weekend getaway and enjoyed the beach and the restaurants in the area. Our favorites were the Beachhouse & Sandbar restaurants. We also enjoyed the Dutch Heritage Restaurant (Amish style cooking) in Sarasota - worth the drive. more

We have stayed at the BBR several times before and have always stayed in different rooms. Finally we were able to book the Mermaid Room #116 and it was wonderfull, just steps from the water. I hope when we come back it will be available again. more

Anna Maria is a beautiful, relaxing, and all around great get away location. I searched reviews on the various hotels, then went several times up and down the island looking at various places before deciding on one for a nice romantic day for two. Bungalow was certainly it.
