I've stayed in every room in the place. It's not the most comfortable accommodation but it is definitely the cleanest. And that's worth points. Len and Bev are terrific hosts. The location is excellent and the price can't be beaten. TOURISTS-PLEASE DO NOT KILL THINGS ON THE BEACH! STARFISH AND SAND DOLLARS DO NOT LIVE ON LAND!

Having come down from Stoughton,Ma. to attend a wedding at the Boca Pass Beach Club, all the hotels had holds and what room were available were quoted at $400. to $500 a night. Maybe if it were the Taj Mahal but not here. Found out about The Palmetto and made a call. Bev was so wonderful on the phone. Made... More

Staying at the Palmetto Inn is pleasant and comfortable...you are within walking distance to all shops and beach. If you want to travel the island you can rent a golf cart at the corner. Bev & Len are flexible and attentive. History and happiness can be found and explained by them. Many years of family ownership makes for security reliability.... More

I traveled to Boca Grande without hotel reservations. When I got there, I called the numbers listed in one of the tourist guides and The Palmetto had the best rates I could find (Gasparilla Island is an expensive place to stay). The owners are gracious and hospitable and my apartment was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. I had the Snook suite,... More

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the comfortable room, great location right in the middle of town, plus the warmth and friendliness of our hosts Bev and Len. Would definitely stay again.

I had heard about Boca Grande 32 years ago and finally made it there to check it out. When we walked into the Redfish Suite at the Palmetto Inn our immediate reaction was a pleasant surprise how nice, clean, and accommodating it was and to wish our reservations had extended more nights. A fantastic bargain at $150 per night too... More

Just returned from spending a month at The Palmetto Inn. Yes the place is in a great location, is immaculately clean, and is just an all around great place to stay, but the real reason to stay at The Palmetto is because of the owners Beverly and Len. These are two of the nicest people I have met in my... More

Staying at the Palmetto is like staying with friends - which they become when you stay there. Terrific location downtown, park the car and never drive it while you're there. Spotless, complete amenities. Bike rental one block away, Many choices of dining within a block. Bev will even walk with you down to see the sunset each evening.

We stayed at this cozy, homelike inn for three nights in the snook apartment/suite which is located in the back of the inn with its own entrance. Although adjacent to a back fence and alley, we had absolutely no concerns. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the proprietors, Bev and Len, who made us feel right at... More
