Right off let's make this clear, this is NOT the Double Tree, or a Marriot with hot and cold running staff. However, what it is,is a great place to stay on the Lower Keys for a good price with a Clean room, Clean Bathroom and a good frige freezer. You provide your own coffee, but they provide the maker. Freindly... More

I reserved ahead of time at this place for my single night on my bicycle trip from Miami to Key West. It's still clean, quiet, and the least expensive, but not cheap. I'll use it again. I've found it best to head toward No Name Key to find Key Deer. I've never seen them wandering near Rt 1 or business... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting my children who live in Key West. As it was over the New Years holiday I was unable to get accomadtions any closer to KW that was under $400.00 per night. The lady at the desk, who must run the motel was great. Her name is Jen? She took... More

I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews on this property. I had no choice however, as it was the only room I was able to get for 1 night on such short notice and under several hundred dollars. Since I was only going to be in the room 6-8 hours, there was no need to spend... More

Mold, mildew, roaches, beds that are like taco shells, carpet that is sticky, cigarette burns on all the tables, tub, and sink. This like something out of a movie complete with a drained pool that has 1 foot of green sludge in the deep end. At night, the patrons usually drink high life and recline on the resin furniture filling... More

Hotel is over priced. I got in off the water and was looking forward to watching UGA vs aburn game and UM vs FSU. Nope they don't have espn one or espn 2. Super 8 even has espn! The lady at the hotel front desk did not know what it was?!! Had to drive to dingy bar just to watch... More

I'm not sure what room the positive reviewers stayed in but my experience was quite a bit different. Needing a place to say for one night while my local house was under repair I checked into the Big Pine Motel without first seeing a room. BIG mistake. The room smelled of mildew. There were cigarette burns on the bedspread that... More

The Keys Cafe at this property is so poorly managed that despite numerous employees it took 50 minutes to get breakfast. They ran out of country gravy and hash browns - during breakfast! A few customers left after waiting 1/2 hr. for their food. The only person who seemed to care about customers and offered to refill our beverages was... More

My son and I stayed here for one night and the place was very nice. We were referred to this motel by another place because the other place had no vacancies. I called Big Pine Motel to make sure they had rooms available and to get the price. I was skeptical at first because the price was very reasonable (especially... More

Has 32 rooms, all probably as comfortable as mine. It's a break from being on the boat a few days. You can read without the sun glazing, watch TV. Take a break, go to "Key Dear Refuge", set by the pool. One of my favorites, go to the, Cafe, have someone else do the cooking. I only eat red meat about... More
