We have been coming here for years now, we absolutely love these camps, they are rustic! As long as you understand this, you'll fall in love with the place. It's a very quiet spot, walk to the Pub for beer & pizza, little Key deer right outside your door. There is a nice Supermarket a mile or so away, we... More

Went to the OWB last weekend and loved it. The cottages were clean, the staff was great and the location was awesome. The cottage is right next to the marina. Short trip to Key West and walking distance to the No Name Pub. Will definitely be back

Stayed at Old Wooden Bridge Fish Camp with a group. The setting is terrific -- on a wide waterway on Big Pine Key. But alas the rooms are really tired. We were in a two room unit with wall mount A/C units, and one of them was barely adequate to bring the room to a habitable temperature. There is no... More

We spent 3 nights at the fish camp and we knew going in that the accommodations would not be luxurious by any means. However for $210 per night we expected more. Do not plan on cooking anything in the cabin - the stove (top and oven) are rusted and the burners are all lopsided. I tried to make some scrambled... More

If you're looking for a great fishing experience in the Keys, this is it. You can bring your own boat or rent a boat like we did. We also hired a guide that took us out on 2 separate days. We caught tarpon, cobia, permit, goliath grouper, african pompano, shark, and snapper all in one day!! It's has old 50's... More

We stayed here in the off season October 2014. We had a two bedroom 1 bath cabin that was small but more than adequate. Truthfully, we weren't in the room for much more than sleeping. OWB is right at the bridge going over to No Name Key. We don't own a boat and fishing charters don't come cheap, but there... More

OWB is quaint and campy. That means you'd better not expect the Hilton. But that's ok, we came to fish and kayak and a top of line fish camp it is. Except for one major problem: THE MATTRESSES! Horrible nasty things they were. We spoke to quite a few other guests, and the number one complaint was the beds. Lumpy,... More

I know this is the Florida Keys and life here is laid back. However, there is no reason why an owner of a lodging cannot thoroughly clean one of their cottages. There was mildew everywhere in the bathroom. I wore flip flops when I showered. There were food splatters in the kitchen (stove, fridge, wall, window blinds). The grout in... More

This was our 5th year staying at Old Wooden Bridge. What a wonderful place to stay...always a great adventure. We find our neighbors to be so friendly showing off the big fish they caught, and sharing info on where to eat. We always stay in Cabin 3. It is comfortable and all the conveniences we need. Our Jack Russell, Bozo... More

This was a perfect place for us. Quiet, off the beaten path. We brought our boat and our dogs. Key deer everywhere. The only downsides were the air unit and hot water. The one window unit was on constantly and barely keeping up, if it had been summer it couldn't and hot water was sporadic in the shower. The staff... More
