Loved, loved, loved my recent stay at the Fishing Lodge. I flew into Key West and set my GPS to find the Fishing Lodge easily. The first thing you see is the rental office/general store. It has everything you need: fishing supplies, boating supplies, camping needs, groceries, candy, gift shop. There's a heated pool and a rec room with a... More

Stayed 7 nights in a camper. Ocean front. We absolutely loved it! The grounds were very clean and groomed. When I first saw that it was a fishing lodge I had fear that it would be a smelly place with old fishermen hanging around lol,I was sorely mistaken! It was beautiful and I am so glad I read the reviews... More

We stayed there 4 nights Oct 22-26, for a guy's (3) fishing trip. We stayed in a loft hotel room. It was large and spotlessly clean, well equipped. The grounds where well maintained and the campground building also. It has a great view of the bridges and bridge. The rooftop pool was great and heated. The staff including Maryann who... More

The first time I ever stayed at the "Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge" was in June 2014, and I could not have been more satisfied with this establishment. I stayed at one of their motel units which had a boat slip fight outside the front door of the unit. They have a nice ramp, fish cleaning facilities, gas and frozen... More

Clean and well kept. All the amenities you would want in the room, including a blender! Nicely decorated with all nature pictures from the area. The nature trail is a little overgrown, but we saw lots of cool stuff on it. The store was well stocked and reasonable. We were here in October unfortunately and it was hot, humid and... More

We've come here 3 times for extended (2 week stays), and once in October where we only made it for 2 days before we had to give up on it due to weather and bugs. Here are some things to expect if you go tent camping at BPKFL. Remember i said TENT camping: December thru March: Excellent weather. The best... More

We had another wonderful vacation at the lodge. There just is nothing not to like about it! However, it seems that the beds are getting old, squeaky and not very comfortable. We are hoping when we return next year they will have been replaced. If not, we will have a great time anyway! So much to do and we like... More

If you love deep sea fishing (and I DO!) this will be right up your alley. Very casual, which is definitely what you want after a day on the water. Small, well managed motel or bring your RV. Canal with boat ramp makes it easy to launch small to mid-sized boats. Everything about this place is laid-back and friendly..and the... More

My family and I camped in our travel trailer and brought along our boat and docked on site. We had a great time. The place was clean and the staff was nice. Most days the staff does a craft and plays movies. The BPKFL has cleaning stations fuel for your boat and a ramp. perfect place! I sure miss it and... More
