It was well run, clean, quiet, and the staff were really helpful. I love that there are no dogs. Dogs are great unless someone next to your tent has one that yaps all the time. Also there are some nice trails to hike on there. We were in rustic camping which mostly just means no water, or electric...but it did... More

We stayed for a week right after new years and it was absolutely one of the best vacations we've ever taken. We stayed and a nice loft and enjoy the fact they aren't we could have the boat right next to us. They offer free coffee every morning at 8 a.m. And everybody watches the boats go out, it's really... I could write a very long review here. But, there are so many other good reviews, I figure- why bother? The campground is very well kept. It is really secure. There are tons of opportunities for water recreation. We brought Stand Up Paddleboards, Kitesurfing, diving/fishing gear and bikes in a trailer. I think we used them all! The only possible... More

Super camp ground. All the good things reported are absolutely true. Unfortunately I was too trusting of other campers. I was totally ripped off while in the bathhouse. I was naïve, my bad. I have stayed at the lodge many times and always had a great time.

Loved, loved, loved my recent stay at the Fishing Lodge. I flew into Key West and set my GPS to find the Fishing Lodge easily. The first thing you see is the rental office/general store. It has everything you need: fishing supplies, boating supplies, camping needs, groceries, candy, gift shop. There's a heated pool and a rec room with a... More

Stayed 7 nights in a camper. Ocean front. We absolutely loved it! The grounds were very clean and groomed. When I first saw that it was a fishing lodge I had fear that it would be a smelly place with old fishermen hanging around lol,I was sorely mistaken! It was beautiful and I am so glad I read the reviews... More

We stayed there 4 nights Oct 22-26, for a guy's (3) fishing trip. We stayed in a loft hotel room. It was large and spotlessly clean, well equipped. The grounds where well maintained and the campground building also. It has a great view of the bridges and bridge. The rooftop pool was great and heated. The staff including Maryann who... More

The first time I ever stayed at the "Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge" was in June 2014, and I could not have been more satisfied with this establishment. I stayed at one of their motel units which had a boat slip fight outside the front door of the unit. They have a nice ramp, fish cleaning facilities, gas and frozen... More

Clean and well kept. All the amenities you would want in the room, including a blender! Nicely decorated with all nature pictures from the area. The nature trail is a little overgrown, but we saw lots of cool stuff on it. The store was well stocked and reasonable. We were here in October unfortunately and it was hot, humid and... More
