Nice park and beach. Clear water. We took the walking trail up to the old bridge. Very warm day in May. Overlooking the water was a nice treat. Found some shells. We were charged $9.00 to get in. There is a camp store that sells food/shirts/trinkets.

Loved the snorkeling off the island! Saw many fish and sea life. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see a beautiful beach with excellent snorkeling! A definite must stop if you are passing by! Paradise!

Difficult to get reservations right on the beach, but not impossible! Stayed there 2 weeks. There was an eastern wind of 5-10 the whole time, except the last 3 days. The winds caused murky water, lots of seaweed, and choppy conditions. The last 3 days we snorkeled right off the beach and into the rocky area. Perfect! Saw tons of... More

We always visit Bahia Honda when we are in Key West. It's a great reminder of how the native area looked before all the development and we could sit on the narrow beach this time! They offer a nice snorkeling trip, too.

We stayed in the "cabins" during our visit to Bahia Honda State Park. The accommodations, though dated and not truly "turn key", were a real steal for the price, and the view was spectacular. The staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. We would have given it 5 stars if not for the overwhelming number of blood sucking "no-see-ums" and crude... More

We tent camped here about 20 years ago. And decided to try it again March 5-15. Our Sandspur campsite was open to the road, And without power. It was also a long way to the bath house. The staff was superb. But the campground is the same as it was 20 years ago. Almost no cell service, no power, hard... More

We had a water front lot amazing view! The beach is beautiful and perfect for kids because it' s shallow very far out. We really enjoyed that park and for sure we will come back. The only negative point was the restroom they are not clean and smell very bad.

We had such a great time here. The water was so beautiful and I loved that in most places it was shallow far out. Perfect for little ones. The campground staff was super nice. They had different programs each day...fun for the whole family. We were there in March and the weather was perfect. We had no problem with mosquitos... More
