Bahia Honda has three designated camping areas with dedicated accommodations for both tenters and RVs including a number of waterfront sites. All RV sites are back-in and none are very deep however many will accommodate a large motor home or fifth wheel. The main attraction in the park is the beaches which, as a life long Floridian I would rate... More

I moved to Key West a couple of months ago and was getting restless so decided to camp for a couple of nights. The park rangers were all so friendly and helpful. Mona helped me check in and was hilarious and sweet. The park and campgrounds are dog friendly-ish. I came with my dog but she isn't allowed on the... More

Before I start, we are frequent campers so we are very used to what different campgrounds are like for comparison. The bathrooms here are very inconveniently completely closed for a full hour and a half every morning, and then are not very clean in general (men's & women's, with the same dirty areas present before and after cleaning times). This... More

This beach has the turquoise water with the clear, sandy spots that you associate with Caribbean waters. However, that said, if you're expecting miles of white sugar-sand beaches, go up to Miami Beach. Keys beaches are small, narrow, and often full of seaweed depending on time of year. And when the seaweed is high, so is the stench. Honestly, the... More

A beautiful natural beach in the middle of the keys. Crystal clear waters, great snorkeling. Loved every minute! Two beaches, one Oceanside one gulf side. Nice gift shop, concession stand and bathrooms. Get there early to ensure parking.

We loved it here!!! We stayed in the section past buttonwood- u have to go under the bridge only a 6ft8' clearance To get to so we had to take kayaks off the truck to make it under. It was worth it though- camped across a small lagoon over by the cabins. Very buggy at night so bring the bug... More

Having camped here last August with my husband, we thought it would be a great adventure to bring our family this year. Though we had fun and the waters were beautiful on Sunday and Monday, the sandy area left much to be desired. Sand fleas were everywhere. The girls could not put a towel down to sunbath and if you... What a gorgeous place! We had a lot of fun snorkeling right off the beach and watching the pelicans dive for their dinner. This place had a nice sandy beach. Definitely bring a mask and snorkel to find fish. My kids caught sight of a huge school of minnows in the water. There are shaded pavilions with picnic benches -... More

I live 5 miles away and have a lifetime Free pass so I go often mostly to soak in the warm water(80*+) after work. It was once voted 1 of the top ten beaches in the U.S. However there's No endless expanses of soft sand beaches, kinda stoney and if the wind has been blowing from the ESE thru WSW... More

I came here with my parents and my dog and it was very relaxing. There's three beaches....honestly, sandspur go ahead and skip. Its on the Atlantic side so there's tons of rocks. The beach by the train bridge is fun. We snorkeled around there and saw a bunch of things including a baby reef shark! They're docile so no worries.... More
