If you love camping, fresh water, beautiful beaches you have to go there! I was staying on B.H. 2011 memorial day weekend and I loved it. I was camping and colorful crabs were my neighbors(living in the ground holes next to my tent). I have also seen a bald eagle. Really good place for chill out.

Camped in a tent here for three days last week and loved it. The campground was clean and well-maintained. We had a tent-only space on Sandspur--with electricity, first time I've ever had electricity while camping! Half of these spots back right up onto the beach, which is pretty amazing. Tip: the beach is very rocky right at the water near...

This is a must see if you are in the Keys and love blue water and white sand. We didn't camp there. We only went for the day. Well worth the $10 fee for a car with 4 people. There is a snack shack and bathrooms with outside rinsing showers. It was beautiful during high tide but even more beautiful...

Our site was close to the bathroom, the stars were amazing, and you couldn't swim at the lagoon but it was fun to watch the sea life and play with the hermit crabs. The bugs weren't too...

First stayed here in 1976, then again in 2010 and 2011. Beautiful campground... stayed all three times right on the water. Clean facilities, helpful knowledgeable rangers, interesting evening programs. Close to Marathon (great food) and Key West. The only problem is getting a reservation... had to book 11 months in advance, on the computer at 8am (EXACTLY!!!) and it still...

I stayed the Christmas 2011 week for 3 days in cabin number 2 with my two daughters. The view is wonderful and you can fish right off the dock area (no catches to write home about). The Sandspur beach area is picture perfect and the water is usually gin clear. We even launched our tandem kayak right from the back...

on our way to Key West, we stopped at Bahia Honda state park beach. This is the best thing we did in our whole trip and made sure to spend long time on our way back. This is a great beach with not so much crowd, untra fine sand, clear water and shallow water for a wider distance into the...
