excellent location for Bal Harbour shops. Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful, especially Bobby, who worked at the Sheraton until it closed for re-development. The pool area could do with a bit of attention, especially the pool bar, where there was no atmospheere at all. They would probably do well if somebody went around the guests on loungers offering bar... more

I have just returned from a week at the Sea View Bal Habour. The room was very clean and a decent size (we had two double beds, 2 single armchairs, table and large fridge). We didn't choose a room with a balcony as we have a young child, but i did view one and it was similar in size to... more

Stayed in this hidden gem of a hotel, very comfortable with extremely helpful and pleasant staff, my bay facing very large bedroom was lovely, fabulous views and so very comfortable and clean, fresh sheets and towels changed daily. The swimming pool (warm) and terraces are spotlessly clean, we had a cabana which is well worth the extra expense, and the... more

We stayed three nights at the Sea View in January 2009. The main event that weekend was the College Bowl Championship game in Miami, but we were in town for the beach. Arriving by rental car from the Keys, we looked somewhat disheveled, but the staff were as good to us as to the chap who pulled up next in... more

My husband, 10 month old son and I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Seaview. Upon arriving, I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the room, my son is crawling everywhere and getting into everything so this was a welcome relief - not once during the stay did he find anything that had been missed by... more

We arrived at hotel yesterday to a lovely welcome from porter and reception staff. We were kindly given an upgrade to a room with balcony which is charming. A large room ( bathroom on the small side but has everything you need ) with lots of character. Beds very comfortable and the chocolate with the turndown service was much appreciated.... more

Arrived at the hotel in a taxi, the driver kindly removed my suitcase from the boot and while I was paying I expected a bell boy to come and help with my luggage. There was a bell boy standing there and it looked as though when he saw me he ran off so that he didn't have to help. I... more

After 11 wonderful nights with my family at the Sea View I can only say the very best about this hotel. Beautiful large room, very clean, grandiose service from all staff members, perfect for children (mine is 15 months old). What makes the service special is the surprisingly wonderful cuisine of the hotel restaurant and the fact that you will... more

The hotel has kind of an old school look and feel. Overall it's a nice hotel, with a quiet oceanfont...one of the reasons why I selected the hotel. The drinks are the poolside bar are a little weak, and incidental charges for towels and the use of lounge chairs is a bit much for the caliber that the hotel fashions... more
