This is our fourth trip to the Inn at Wilmington. We go to the Winery's every fall and have found this to be our favorite place to stay. The room's are clean with flat screen TV's - we were lucky this time to be given a Suite with a couch and separate area. Roberta at the front desk is the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Wilmington for a Saturday night in Sept 2009. We were looking for a hotel that would feel a little nicer than a typical chain hotel, but wasn't as expensive as a B&B. The Inn at Wilmington fit the bill quite nicely. We appreciated having a small couch in the room, a... more

This is an excellent choice if you find yourself in Wilmington, DE. It has plush bedding and is well run. The environs were clean and the price, albeit, higher than alot of places, is about right for a major metropolitan area in the Northeast. I paid $120/night. It is a ten minute drive to downtown and there are alot of... more

We stayed for one night to attend a concert. We stayed on the second floor in a king room. Although i saw some a minor stain on the curtain, lamp, light pink stains on the bathtub in the bathroom, and the towel bar outside near the sink was bent. It was clean enough to stay for one night, a little... more

Used as a stopover on my way to Florida. Hotel was recently renovated, but still maintained somewhat of a musty smell. Rooms were clean, but for a recently renovated hotel, some of the details were not well done (ie. caulking, bathrooms). Great complimentary breakfast and service was friendly, as well. Great value for a stopover and would probably stay again... more

I was surprised to see AAA rated this hotel with only 2 stars - it ranks up with any 3 star hotel I've stayed in, and maybe even better. The staff was professional and friendly, the rate was great, the room seemed more spacious since it had a loveseat across from the television so you didn't have to sit on... more

Was down in Wilmington this week and stayed at the Wilmington Inn. The renovations are very nice. I stayed here when in was the McIntosh Inn, and it was very good. My room was great with a very comfortable Kingsize bed. Flat screen TV, Microwave, Refrigerator, pleasant decor. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Belgian waffes, fruit, coffee, cereal....... more

My husband, teenage daughter, and I stayed here two nights in June. It is no longer the McIntosh Inn. It is the Inn at Wilmington. I would highly recommend staying here. It is in a wonderful suburban location near restaurants and shopping. There are five restaurants located right next door within walking distance. I was very impressed with the front... more

There was a big Du Pont meeting in town that had all decent hotels in town either booked solid or charging sky high rates, so I was really shocked to find a room at this hotel. The Inn is no longer a McIntosh. It is being run by Hersha Hospitality, which is trying to make a name for itself, more... more

Pleasant, clean hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is in a separate room with many choices, including three kinds of yogurt -- coffee is available in that room all day. (I was impressed by how polite the guests were at breakfast!) We used the Internet access daily, for business updates and vacation planning. The bedroom was well lit; the air... more
