We've stayed in this hotel several times. The staff is consistently helpful and pleasant. Lelia, the Operations Manager, goes above and beyond to satisfy a guest's needs. It's no surprise that the rest of the staff follows suit. They always make you feel comfortable and will gladly answer any questions. In particular, this is a clean and quiet hotel. Generally... This was my first stay at this Inn. Normally I am staying downtown or in a chain hotel. They were all full so I ended up here. The location is great, right on 202 with many walking distance restaurant options. Shopping is nearby if you need something, etc... Easy in and out. When I checked in/out the front desk staff... My mother, sister, and I spent a night at the Inn at Wilmington before our tour of Winterthur, which is only about 15 minutes away. The hotel is easy to find, and it's across the street from a number of dining options - Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc. The room was perfectly adequate and breakfast was fine - cereals, hard-boiled... Four of us spent 2 nights at the Inn at Wilmington. With a cold, rainy weekend stay we were unable to enjoy some of the attractions of the Brandywine Valley. Our search for events, venues and restaurants was aided by a marvelous front desk representative, TIA. Her aid and guidance really helped make the stay pleasurable. When spring arrives, we... More

This property is your basic hotel but don't be disappointed in that. It's clean, good beds, mini-fridge and microwave in each room. The staff is terrific, very pleasant and helpful and even assisted us with an internet issue which two of their young folks were very knowledgeable with. We were visiting the Wilmington area with friends and just wanted an... More

I am from CA so Delaware is always a bargain when I visit, but this place was great.
