The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to the beach. But the hotel needs to be remodeled. They told us last year, it would be and the breakfast would be much better. The room was nice and clean it had a king bed with a 2 person whirlpool.The breakfast had a nice selection of food.Everyone was so nice and helpful.We will be going back again. more

This is an expensive hotel that has marginal accomodations. However, for the location, it's certainly tolerable. If you're looking for deluxe accomodations you should skip Dewey Beach altogether. Stayed midweek for two nights at 179 per night. Not worth it. Waterview is bayview not oceanview from a dirty balcony on a noisy 4 lane road, Bagels at breakfast moldy.Phone in room didn't work upon arrival and they never fixed it by the time we left even though we notified them immediately. We found all staff to be extremely personable and friendly. The rooms were a good size and very clean. We also had a microwave and bar-size refrigerator in our room, which came in very handy. To preface: I have been to Dewey Beach several times and am an avid traveler. I am easy to please and it usually takes a lot to make me complain about anything.
