The Canalside Inn was a terrific surprise! We stayed here primarily because they'd take our small dog, and because of the fairly central location. (The Canalside Inn is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet is still convenient to all of the shopping/food/attractions in Rehoboth Beach.) The recently renovated Canalside room was outstanding - bright colors, with microwave, mini-fridge,... More

I was looking for a dog-friendly place to stay in Rehoboth Beach with my partner and our small dog when I came upon the Canalside Inn. I am so glad we selected it. Although the building is set (as the name indicates) on the Canal, I found the location to be lovely. It was very quiet and serene, with nice... More

My boyfriend and I arrived at Canalside the first week in June and were very pleased with the accommidations. The inn was beautifully decorated and had a upscale feel to it. For the price, we couldnt beat it. The town of Rehoboth itself is beautiful and offers a large variety of great resturants and cute shops. I recommend FINS and... More

My wife and I selected the Canalside Inn, because it is an adult's only establishment. The Inn's rooms and public spaces are tastefully decorated, and clean. The location is quiet and comfortable, located at the end of a residential street, next to the Lewes-Rehoboth canal, and a short walk to the Rehoboth beach boardwalk. The continental breakfast was nice, and... More

My partner and I were in Rehoboth for the 1st time on Easter Sunday we were traveling with our 2 year old lab and it was difficult to find a nice place that takes dogs. We could not have been happier with our choice. There were loads of restaurants and shops well within walking distance and we had a nice... More

We spent two nights here and had a great time. The room was large, clean and modern. Everything worked. They charge a flat $30 fee for dogs. Plasma TV with many chanels. Bed was very comfortable. About a 15 minute walk to the beach or you can drive. It was out first trip to Rehoboth and we had a great... More

Canalside Inn is a small inn tucked away in a quiet residential area, away from the crowds. It's in Rehoboth Beach itself, but about 1/2 mile to the beach. The least expensive rooms are on the second floor, a bit small but recently meticulously renovated and nicely decorated. Included is a substantial breakfast buffet in a spacious breakfast and (also... More

We have stayed here before and liked it. Steven, the owner/manager, is a little chilly but does his job. Or *DID*, until the toilet broke in our room at 4 PM. we called and told us he would have someone there to look at it 'in the morning". leaving us with no working toilet for an entire evening, night and... We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was fruit salad, cereal, bagels, and danish. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were very comfortable in all the common areas . They have bikes to use. We liked the location off the beat and path, but convenient . Very... More

The room where we stayed was clean and neat. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool was relatively small to swim. We noticed the carpet had a few stains, which did not bother us. However, what bothered us the most, was the innkeeper/owner, Steve. We didn't feel welcome at all. He was dry and didnt have a pleasant personality. He lacked... More
