We were disapointed that the Inn was on the other side of the street from the canal. But we were able to see it from our room on the 2nd floor . The room was very nice and the Canalside is on a quiet street about a 30 min walk to the beach. A nice plus was they have bikes... More

We thought that it was beautiful and very pristine. We were dissapointed at how unfriendly the people seemed to be that worked there. After we left, we kept thinking that if they had only turned the friendly dial up a little bit we would have loved our stay there. This was the only time I have deviated from staying where... More

I have to agree with all the previous reviews regarding Steve. Absolutely no personality!! The inn is also very strict about their policies, it really is lights out at 11pm. Make sure you read all the signs! Swimming pool and hot tub area are extremely small. If you want your room clean make sure you request maid service- rooms are... More

I was planning on traveling here the weekend of August 22 with my wife and our dog. Unfortunately our dog is extremely sick and we contacted Steven to see if we could reschedule our stay, understanding that our 50% deposit is non-refundable. Steven was not willing to work with us even if there were dates with future availability. He basically... More

We were looking for a pet-friendly place and found this hotel on the Internet. We thought it was fun that dogs were allowed, but no one under 18! The hotel was very nice, charming even, with a smart decor and a good use of their space. Our room was spacious, bright colors and very clean (it was a pet friendly... More

We stayed for only a few days, and picked the Inn primarily because they took dogs and were the most convenient of the hotels we looked at. We stayed in a newly-renovated first-floor king room and were more than pleasantly surprised! The decor was fabulous--great, beach-inspired artwork and colors, lots of storage, a mini-fridge, a microwave, glasses/cups, plenty of storage.... More

The Canalside Inn was a terrific surprise! We stayed here primarily because they'd take our small dog, and because of the fairly central location. (The Canalside Inn is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet is still convenient to all of the shopping/food/attractions in Rehoboth Beach.) The recently renovated Canalside room was outstanding - bright colors, with microwave, mini-fridge,... More

I was looking for a dog-friendly place to stay in Rehoboth Beach with my partner and our small dog when I came upon the Canalside Inn. I am so glad we selected it. Although the building is set (as the name indicates) on the Canal, I found the location to be lovely. It was very quiet and serene, with nice... More

My boyfriend and I arrived at Canalside the first week in June and were very pleased with the accommidations. The inn was beautifully decorated and had a upscale feel to it. For the price, we couldnt beat it. The town of Rehoboth itself is beautiful and offers a large variety of great resturants and cute shops. I recommend FINS and... More

My wife and I selected the Canalside Inn, because it is an adult's only establishment. The Inn's rooms and public spaces are tastefully decorated, and clean. The location is quiet and comfortable, located at the end of a residential street, next to the Lewes-Rehoboth canal, and a short walk to the Rehoboth beach boardwalk. The continental breakfast was nice, and... More
