My family of 4 stayed here for Dogfish Dash weekend. The location could not have been more convenient--a short walk to Dogfish--and it was nice that our "suite" had a separate bedroom with two twin beds for the kids. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and served on fine china in the formal dining room. The only... More

Host was accommodating, he greeted us when we rang the door, showed us the dinning room and 2 parlors, and lovely front side porch and asked us what time we would like to come down for breakfast and what we prefer to eat. He then showed us to our room and gave us a set of keys. This is an... More

I stayed here about a week ago with a friend for the Firefly Music Festival in Dover. We didn't explore historic Milton, but it's smack dab in the middle of it. For such an old place (absolutely lovely), our room had plenty of modern amenities: a nice TV, mini fridge, hair dryer, heat/AC, etc. Bed was comfortable and the room... More

No complaints with Governors B&B! Bill and Deborah were fantastic hosts, very humble and accommodating. The breakfasts were amazing. Living in a noisy city, we were delighted to experience the quiet peacefulness of Milton, and Governors B&B was the place to be. Super close to Dogfish Head Craft Brewery which offers free tours (and samples!)

Nice small, quiet town 15 mins. away from beaches, but in need of some TLC. Clean bedding & towels, but the suite needed some pull down shades. In need of dusting & cob webs removed. Sofa back fell out when I sat down in living area. Very nice host.

We came into town for a funeral. Of all of the bed and breakfasts we have had the pleasure of staying at, this one was by far the absolute worst. We arrived in the early evening on a Saturday to check in. Bill was nice when he met us at the door. As we walked in, he pointed to the... More

We have been in business for 12 and at no time has anyone written such a negative review. The client was rude and difficult from the beginning because she had to pay for her stay since she could not stay with relatives. At no time during her stay did she voice her concern to me regarding any of her complaints.... More

I was traveling alone in Milton five nights and was charged for only four (as advertised you get a free night when you stay t wo or more nights). Every morning at 8 a.m. I was served a hot and delicious breakfast on an antique table in the dining room with china, silver, crystal and tablecloth. A small window was... More

The property reminded me of relaxed home town atmosphere. The Elizabeth room was very nice, with a view of the front yard, and decorated with antiques. The bed was only a double bed which is in line with the true antique feeling, but it seemed small after being used to a Queen size bed. The bath was fun as it... More
