We stayed here to be close to Cape Henlopen where field hockey camp was held. This was family friendly, close to restaurants & other recreation. We played golf right next door on a challenging course. Other family took us surf fishing just below Dewey Beach & at the Indian River Inlet. Nice days on the Dewey & Rehobeth beaches.Hotel is... Stayed at Heritage Inn night of Oct 18. Upon entering lobby, you can smell old cigarette smoke. Rooms are drab and poorly lit. Furnishings worn and tired. Bed was comfortable enough, room and bathroom spacious. Had trouble sleeping since could hear people in adjoining room who had a few couples visiting from 11 pm to 1 am. Could hear all their... More

The photo of the Heritage Inn on Expedia showed a classic 4 story building made of tan brick. Some rooms had balconies. I had never stayed in Lewes, and decided to try the Heritage. When I arrived, the building looked exactly like the photo. My room also looked just like the photo. One might think accurate photos could be taken... More

Don't Waste Your Money - Stay Elsewhere!!! We have been long-time guest at Heritage Inn but Never Again! We have notice that the service, quality and condition of the hotel and drastically plummeted. We have stayed on each of the floors and last year we just thought that we had a bad room, yet this year was even worst. My... More

Acceptable hotel. Stayed there for my sons baseball tournament. Rooms were clean but way overpriced. Especially since the breakfast is not acceptable unless you're a 4 year old. Coffee also needs to be upgraded. Absolutely terrible. If you're going to keep coffee brewed for guests all day long, invest is some better coffee and have some milk or half and... More

My girlfriend and I decided at the LAST minute to go to the MD/DE shore for the weekend - like deciding on a Thursday night to go on Friday... To make it even exponentially more difficult, it was perhaps the most beautiful weather of the summer - low 80s, no humidity, blue skies, breeze - AND, the last big beach... More

We enjoyed our visit to this hotel. Great location to the beaches and if you like to shop the outlets. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We decided to stay another night but had to check out and check back in at regular check in time our rooms were booked already with different guests. My sister had a connecting... More

Let's start with the positive - the room was clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. Also a pretty good location if you want to get to both Rehobeth and Lewes. Now for the not so positive! It was one of the unfriendliest hotels I've stayed in. My mom and I stayed for 5 nights and the only time the... More

I stayed here July 4th with my boyfriend in the coastal suite. The room was HUGE. It was probably somewhere around 1000 sq feet with a balcony and kitchenette! It also had a really nice bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub--a perfect amenity after we sat in DC traffic to get there. The room was also clean and the hotel staff... More
