I seriously dont know how anyone could like it here. Nowhere in the information online about the hotel does it say there is a murphy bed, thats the kind that pulls down from the wall. it was hard as a rock, and only full sized. the shower comes out barely a trickle, and then there is the parking situation. good... more

As long as you know that this is a beach town, with beach accomodations that are far from luxury - you will be getting exactly what you hope for at the Dewey Surf Club! The sofa bed & murphy bed folding up into the couch/wall made the room extremely spacious during the daytime. Beds were comfy enough, and while the... more

We booked 2 rooms with the Surf Club for 3 nights this past week and we had a wonderful time! My parents got a Large Ocean Front room and I stayed in a Small Ocean View room. Both were wonderful and pretty similar. The LOF room had a FABULOUS view of the ocean! My SOV room still had a view... more

The Serf Club in Dewey Beach is a very relaxing destination. We enjoyed a 3rd floor oceanfront with a panoramic view it the Atlantic. The Serf Club is very ‘70s.’ It is immaculately clean, well maintained, and in a very convenient location. It is close to everything, but removed from the congestion of traffic and disruption of the ‘party crowd.’... more

I took my 11 year old son and his friend for a holiday weekend stay. The frined's mother joined us there for the final night. Although this was a 'studio' aprtment style room, there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. I was even able to sleep on a daybed type sofa in the dining area , which... more

This hotel was the recommended hotel for a wedding in Delaware but I must admit that having read the reviews on this website I was a bit wary about arriving. Added onto that it was difficult to get in contact with this hotel from this side of the Atlantic when e-mails bounced back and phone lines were difficult. However, when... more

I like Dewey Beach because it has NO hi-rises (unlike Ocean City) and, being just two blocks wide, has the Ocean on one side, and Rehoboth Bay on the other. When I need Rehoboth, it is just a short walk up the Beach or a 5 minute bike ride away. We had a bonfire on the beach Friday night (permit... more

As long as you know what to expect, this is a great place to stay. This is a relaxed, comfortable, down to earth, and very convenient place to stay when visiting Dewey Beach. The "Little Store" is only a few steps away. Great if you have kids as the room is equipped with small kitchenette, fridge, and utensils. Hotel is... more

The hotel has nice rooms and a wonderful view of the beach. It is an efficience so you save tons of money on food. Downstairs they have a small pool, a hot tub and bikes available for guests. The place is definetly NOT for the handicapped. There is no elevator and just a thin set of steps leading to the... more

We usually stay at the Sand Palace but were looking to upgrade. I had some concern after reading some of the reviews but it was a good location and worked out wonderful. The oceanview was great and most importantly in the motel type accomodations of Dewey - it was absolutely spotless. Yes the furniture was a bit out dated and... more
