Was looking for an inexpensive room at the beach on a Sunday night in late March. Many of the hotels/motels open at this time of year are either overpriced are complete dumps. Luckily this was neither. It is next door to the Ruddertown complex and across the side street from the police station. The bed was very comfortable. The room... more

This place was inexpensive (about $83 w/ tax for a Sat night) We wanted to get away with our dog - which was great because it's hard to find! Carpeting is indoor/outdoor and room is outdated. But we could see the ocean from our balcony and could walk 2 minutes to shops & restaurants. Only 1 bar was open in... more

Our stay at the Sea Esta III was terrific. The hotel was clean and very friendly to both my husband and me but also to our dog. It was like the whole hotel was catering to the dog community. The other guests that stayed were all kind, courteous and very friendly. It seem as though everyone had a dog with them.... more

We will not recommend this hotel to anyone!! We were extremely disappointed and found this hotel to be sub-standard in every way, except for it's proximity to the beach (1 long block). The bathroom is so small you have to sit sideways on the commode!! We only stayed one night, leaving a day early, never to return!! more

I chose the Sea Esta III because it’s dog-friendly, inexpensive, and close to the beach. Check-in was quick & easy. The room (310) was fine and larger than expected. It had two double beds, a nightstand, a little table with two chairs, a dresser with four large drawers, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a kitchen-size sink, and two electric burners... more

My coworker and his family stay here every year. He kept raving aobut the location and price and suggested I give it a try.I came in the 2nd week in Sept and though some places were closed, it was a restful and enjoyable experience. Great location and service. Went often to Rehoboth Beach down the road and enjoyed sitting on... more

This hotel was not worth the money. The staff was very unfriendly and the dorum was awful. I wanted to take my family somewhere nice and relaxing. All we got was a very unfriendly staff who didn't want to give s the time of day. I would stay somewhere else besides this motel. If you are looking for convenience, try... more

My husband and I and our two sons and our son's girlfriend stayed here on Sunday, July1 and Monday, July 2, 2007. I was surprised that they had vacancies just days prior to July 4th. Also, most of the other hotels that had vacancies were well over $250 per night. Our rate for weeknights was just $102 per night plus... more

If you are looking for a value resort in Dewey Beach, you found it at the Sea Esta III. Located next to Dewey's Ruddertown, just one block from the beach, and a short drive or bike ride to the Rehoboth boardwalk, you cannot beat the location. The rooms were well-appointed, though still motel class, and quite clean. We stayed during... more

I stayed at this motel for the weekend of Sept. 23 through 25th. I was in Dewey for the Elvis Convention. The office manager was very nice and friendly. I arrived a little after 1 pm and was admitted into my room on the second floor. I had a wonderful view of the Rusty Rudder and was able from my... more
