I stayed at the AmericInn in Bear for a couple of days in April. The staff was very friendly and my room was always clean. It was the perfect place to go after the long work days and get a good night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. More

Housekeeping hanged out in my room ahile I was gone ate my food, didn't clean and no one really cared, went through the motions, but I left all the food there, couldn't tell what strangers had touched ..... this after a tip for service, which immediately went so far downhill it disappeared...... Stayed 2 nights in a 2Q room. Never stayed at an AmericInn before and found it be on the level of a Country Inn or Comfort Inn. The room was clean, quiet, and in good condition. Free breakfast was adequate but not restocked very fast. Would stay here again if was in the area. Very close to Kirkwood Soccer Complex. More

If you stay in 100 hotel rooms a year, which we do, and 99% of the time everything is fine, it still means that one time you will have a problem. First time staying at this motel. Great room, very large. Loved the swimming area, excellent breakfast set-up, making waffles was fun for all! Would definetly recommend.
