My boyfriend and I spent the night here last night. We had the most amazing experience. Brenda and Kevin were so welcoming and their B&B is absolutely beautiful. We joined some friends of ours, had a campfire, and sipped on some wine from the vineyard next door. The atmosphere and company made for an excellent sporadic night away.

You can see from our previous reviews that we love staying with Brenda and Kevin. Unfortunately we also always bring a blizzard for excitement. This was no exception. Two, three, four feet of snow - who's counting. We came up Friday and were not sure we would get home on Sunday. No worry. We sat by one of the many... More

Oh my goodness, our first "Autumn in New England" trip was wonderfully enhanced by our five night stay with Brenda and Kevin at the B&B at Taylor's Corner. Being Southerners, we know a thing our two about hospitality - it's top notch here! Accommodations were warm and welcoming, all details were considered right down to homemade cookies upon arrival and... More

We came to the quiet corner of CT to do some family history research. The Taylor B and B is an authentic 1730's farmhouse in Woodstock for an unusual historic experience. The fireplace in your bedroom was at one time the only source of heat ! Brenda and Kevin are great people, world travelers and marvelous conversationalists. Her family hails from... More

We booked a year in advance and should have known the snow would catch up to us. WE LOVE IT. Brenda and Kevin took such good care of us. We sat and read by the fire, wandered into the kitchen and just unwound. Breakfasts are substantial and so imaginative. We spent three hours at the table with friends talking and... More

We spent one night enjoying this lovely area of Connecticut. Our hosts, Brenda and Kevin, were informative, attentive, and we enjoyed chatting with them about their travels. Freshly baked cookies await your arrival; hot tea/coffee is available in the evening. Brenda prepared a wonderful hot breakfast. Mary, Queen of Scots, is their friendly indoor kitty which we thoroughly enjoyed petting.... More

We unfortunately stayed only 1 night here at this very lovely B&B. The Innkeepers, Brenda and Kevin were very hospitable. The morning breakfast was hearty and delicious! We had a wonderful room with lots of windows for the evening cool breezes, though they have a/c units in each room. There is also private bathrooms for each room. Brenda makes the... More

My partner and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Quiet Corner of CT and so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Taylor's Corner. The owners Brenda and Kevin keep the inn immaculately clean, are accommodating and knowledgable hosts, are interesting to talk to, and serve one of the tastiest breakfasts I've had. They made me feel like a welcome guest,... More

Take it slow at Taylor's Corner in woodsy Woodstock or you will miss this old wonderful B&B run by Brenda and Kevin. Brenda's sweet nature is the perfect complement to this nearly 300 year old home. You feel that you are living in another era. The rooms carry the motif of this old inn wonderfully. The breakfasts are delicious and... More

This was our second Valentine’s Day weekend in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. Staying at the Taylor’s Corner Bed and Breakfast is something we look forward to all year. This is a 1731 farm house with all the charm and idiosyncrasies of a 280 year old house. It creaks and moans with the wind. The wide plank floors do the... More
