I found this Inn by purchasing a Groupon. The Inn was beautifully decorated inside and was very clean (a must for me). The room was a good size and the bathroom had wonderful Crabtree & Evelyn products...shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and hand soap! I found the Inn to be in a very nice, quiet setting, with a patio... More

This out of the way Connecticut inn is a nice example of a quaint country inn. The grounds are lovely however the building is a bit tired in spots. We were drawn to the inn because of the bargain groupon price we received. our room, although a bit small was in good shape and had everything one would want. The... More

What a warm welcome and kind departure I had! Comfy bed, pretty house, good food and all, but what made Inn at Woodstock Hill great for me was the kindness of the staff. On this trip, I had to leave in the morning quite early. The young woman at check-in was smiley and helpful and said she would ask the... More

Got a special offer on Amazon local and went for 1 night. Lovely location - looks a bit like England! You can walk to Roseland Cottage and wine tasting a short drive away. We had limited choice of room as using Amazon local voucher. We were in Room 207 which was small but OK for one night.

We were very happy with everything, except the climb up 3 flights. However, we did choose the room and it's location for the queen size bed. The breakfast was extensive with fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereals, cheese, meats, etc there was even almond milk! The location in what is called "the quiet corner of Connecticut" is exactly that! The birthplace... More

We booked an overnight via Groupon Getaways and were thrilled to find such a lovely, quiet place. Being a Monday, the Inn was quiet. While our room was a little dreary (3rd floor, no place comfy to sit even though it was a suite), the ambiance of the rest of the place made up for it. The bar opened at... More

As with most older buildings converted to hotels I presume the size of the rooms vary. We had a nicely furnished large room on the second floor of the cottage not the main house. It was comfortable, the air conditioner worked and the bathroom was updated. The stairs were narrow and angled but they helped us up with our bags.... More

The Inn is, at first glance, a beautiful old building atop a beautiful rolling hilltop in the quiet corner of Connecticut. While the amenities are certainly acceptable, they come at a price that is indicative of a fine inn surrounded by a variety of attractions. That is not necessarily the case with The Inn at Woodstock Hill. The inn is... More

My husband saw a deal on Amazon for $89.00 for this inn. Since we had planned to visit Historic New England's Roseland Cottage (within easy walking distance from Woodstock Inn) on our way to Connecticut, we decided to take advantage of this deal and add a night to our trip. We are so glad we did. This is a lovely... More

I have only been here once for a game night but that event was handled perfectly! I think the grounds and the staff are wonderful. Everything is very clean, and we felt the staff was attentive and patient/friendly.
