I have only been here once for a game night but that event was handled perfectly! I think the grounds and the staff are wonderful. Everything is very clean, and we felt the staff was attentive and patient/friendly.

We went to the Inn at Woodstock Hill to celebrate our anniversary and it was a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and the Inn is very clean, beautifully decorated, and has so much charm! We stayed in a room with a fireplace, sitting area and very large flat screen TV. Breakfast is served from 7-9 with a nice... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for four nights, while we did some antique shopping in the area. Many reviewers mentioned the lack of warmth, and greeting, from the front desk. This is definitely the case at the Inn at Woodstock Hill. We were handed the key to our room upon arrival, and asked for our credit card upon... More

My husband surprised me with a one night stay at this inn for my birthday. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. HD TV with good channel selection . Free internet. Our wing had electric heat which worked well for the bedroom but the bath was a bit chilly. We found the front desk to be barely adequate and... More

Having decided to check out Connecticut, I came upon the Inn at Woodstock Hill. The internet ad and reviews all looked promising. While placing the on-line reservation, I found I had questions so I called the inn and the owner told me he was sorry but the rooms that went with the special I wanted was just booked! He tried... We love exploring and trying new B&B's although this place was pretty and scenic not very warm and friendly. Breakfast was much to be desired. Fruit and frozen Danish do not constitute a bed and breakfast. I guess we could leave off the breakfast part. We actually went out on our last day for a nice hot breakfast. Will not... More

We took advantage of the New Year's Eve Package which included dinner and were very satisfied. The dinner was scrumptious and plentiful; breakfast a bit under-whelming, but all in all we were satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly and they were able to warm up our freezing cold room with an immediate delivery of an electric heater!... More

We stayed at the Inn with friends again this year for New Yeras Eve. We did the package which came to just under $400 per couple. We stayed in room 316 on the third floor. The room was very cozy and clean and the cedar bathroom was huge. We had a view out the front towards the cottage next door.... More

Hello, Room 316 is a beautiful room and we're very happy that you thought it was as wonderful as we do. New Year's Eve dinner can get very busy; thank you for letting us serve you. We haven't offered a hot breakfast before so it is possible that last year you were enjoying our New Year's Brunch. Thank you for... More

We traveled here on Christmas day from Mystic, CT for a nice Christmas dinner because it was the only place around that was open. We arrived near the end of the dinner service but the food left in the buffet line was all cold. After complaining, the waitress brought us some turkey "fresh from the oven" that was still cold.... I was visiting the area on business and stayed 1 night in room 202. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable.
