Me and my husband stayed at this inn for two nights while traveling around the area to see the fall. It is a charming little in, with a character that you feel from the moment you enter. The Inn is managed by quite a veteran, nice people. Breakfast is very poor, I suggest you go somewhere else to eat.

I first stayed at the Curtis House upon discovering it in 1993. I drove from Boston on what I thought would be a day trip to research some ancestral roots. According to my family tree 5 generations of my paternal kin lived in Woodbury from approx 1700 to 1795, and at most I hoped to find some property records at... More

We stayed at the Curtis House this past weekend and had a lovely time. The room was cozy with lovely antique furniture and a very comfortable bed! Good coffee in the morning and an all over good feeling for the whole experience. Like staying in a home vs. staying in a generic hotel. And, for that personal touch, one of... More

I stayed at Curtis House this past weekend. Had room 17 (next to the haunted room 16). The room was very cute, cozy and comfortable, with a 4 poster double bed, nice sized flat screen TV and air conditioning. The bathroom appeared to be renovated and new, and the bed was very comfortable with clean bedding and extra pillows. Staff... More

I love this Inn. My mother is nearby and on my visits I usually stay here. Funny, but I always stay in Room #16 and have never experienced anything unusual (although I often visit the basement before going to sleep). Wonderful, reasonably priced; with good food, a nice bar (in the basement) and comfortable rooms. Recently saw the "Hotel Hell"... More

We booked this hotel through booking.com unaware of the history. We were just on route to NYC and this was a good stopping point. Wow better than expected, first of all the price was very reasonable, unlike most of the run down rubbish we've had the unpleasure of resting in. Then when you pull into the car park you see... I was nervous about staying at Curtis House because of the lack of trip advisor reviews and articles about the house being haunted. I am so glad we decided to give this place a try. It was beautiful, clean, charming and peaceful with friendly and helpful staff. My family and I booked all four rooms in the carriage house so... More

We made a visit to the Curtis House for the first time in 20 years for a late Sunday dinner and we were delighted. The restaurant is old as in an Old Inn, lots of dark wood exposed beams and a large fireplace. We were happily seated near the fireplace on a very cold CT evening. The menu is very... More

First time in Woodbury, the room was very clean and had the nicest tub. Chairs for sitting were comfortable. The restaurant was good as well as the staff. I asked for coffee in the middle of the day and they were happy to make some and bring it to me while I worked on my laptop in the breakfast area.... More

A lot of charm in this country inn. Very quiet, very pretty grounds, historical. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would have liked to try the restaurant, but did not have time. Would definitely stay here again.
