We booked this hotel through booking.com unaware of the history. We were just on route to NYC and this was a good stopping point. Wow better than expected, first of all the price was very reasonable, unlike most of the run down rubbish we've had the unpleasure of resting in. Then when you pull into the car park you see... More

I was nervous about staying at Curtis House because of the lack of trip advisor reviews and articles about the house being haunted. I am so glad we decided to give this place a try. It was beautiful, clean, charming and peaceful with friendly and helpful staff. My family and I booked all four rooms in the carriage house so... More

We made a visit to the Curtis House for the first time in 20 years for a late Sunday dinner and we were delighted. The restaurant is old as in an Old Inn, lots of dark wood exposed beams and a large fireplace. We were happily seated near the fireplace on a very cold CT evening. The menu is very... More

First time in Woodbury, the room was very clean and had the nicest tub. Chairs for sitting were comfortable. The restaurant was good as well as the staff. I asked for coffee in the middle of the day and they were happy to make some and bring it to me while I worked on my laptop in the breakfast area.... More

A lot of charm in this country inn. Very quiet, very pretty grounds, historical. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would have liked to try the restaurant, but did not have time. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for The Hilton or Sheridan type hotel, this is not for you. The building is almost 300 years old and is in great shape for that age. But as with all older buildings, the stairs creek, the floors are slanted and the doors sometimes stick. But that is the character of The Curtis House. It is... More

Visited today (Mothers Day) Chef Ramsey was there filming hotel hell. My review is strictly for the restaurant. The food SUCKED! TERRIBLE!! Worst food I have ever had. The staff was very friendly. Overall the place was rundown. Overpriced crap!!!!

We stayed in this charming little inn with a sense of history. The staff were very efficient and shared their local knowledge proudly. A very quaint old room with a spacious clean modern ensuite. Good value, included breakfast. Dinner was home-made and we managed to hear all about the menu in detail. A great place to stop and chill out.

During a genealogical tour through Woodbury we stayed at the Curtis House. It was a quaint, charming Inn. Our room was quite small but adequate. The bath was quite large. The bed was comfortable and until the morning traffic started it was a quiet room. I had read about the road noise and felt since we were toward the back... More

We spent one night at the Curtis House during a driving trip through eastern states. We had a lovely room with a king-size bed. Very comfortable. Excellent decor; very clean. We ate dinner in the dining room. It was a very cool, rainy night so we enjoyed some comfort food - pot roast and turkey dinner. Lots of antique shops... More
