The good: AC was the quietest I've ever encountered in a hotel. Microwave and fridge clean and working. Bed comfy and clean, lots of pillows. Room mostly clean. Service friendly. It's a truck stop but that didn't cause any problems for us, and neither did the dogs. FYI there is an extra charge for dogs. The bad: In our room... More

I am traveling with my dog, who is very well-behaved but sometimes it is very expensive or difficult to find places to travel with her, and was delighted to find this hotel where I stayed a night this past June and am now having a week here on a combination of work and vacation, visiting nearby UConn (I am an... We were 3 women On a business trip and needed a clean, convenient and reasonably priced place to stay. The rooms were clean, staff helpful and friendly and the price was right. Also we felt safe and all agreed we would stay here again. Also there was plenty of parking in a well lit parking lot.

We stay in many hotels a year (usaully 30+ days) and this hotel, hands down, wins for being the worst. During check in the smell of smoke and mould were overwhelming, however after travelling on a motorbike all day we didnt feel like trying to find other accommodations for us and our group (we booked several rooms here together) Our... Stayed at the Rodeway Inn on Sept 28, 2013, while attending the Parents weekend at nearby U-Conn. When we entered the lobby we could smell the strong odor of cigarette smoke. The lobby showed signs of wear and tear, the elevator was old dirty and had the original dirty carpet. When we entered the room there were no breadspreads on... More

This hotel had everything. Fridge, comfortable beds, great fluffy pillows, all at a reasonable price. Right next to a truck stop where you could get food and even underwear 24 hours a day. I paid LESS for this hotel than I did for a horrible terrible hotel the previous week, EconoLodge in Shelburne VT the week before. And someone said... More
