I stayed at this Rodeway Inn for one night on a trip from Maine to NY. I just couldn't drive another mile, and the location is great: Part of the truck stop on Ruby Road, where I often stop to get gas and/or get food from the drive-through Burger King. This Rodeway seems to be family-run. Check-in was slow, because... More

While looking for a home in Connecticut, we stayed at the Rodeway Inn. I'm not sure what people expect from a hotel that their rooms are priced from $56-$66 / night. Yes, the lobby smells like stale cigarette smoke, but the rooms are fine. The sheets were clean and our room did not smell like cigarettes. It's not the Hilton,... More

I'm not sure if most of the reviewers normally stay in luxury hotels, but I was expecting the worst and found a nice, clean, "regular" hotel. No bed bugs, no dirty sheets or anything - the building was on the newer side actually. Our room was ok, came with a small microwave and refrigerator. The pillows were very flat, so... More

My husband and I stayed here after a party at friend's house one night. We got there at midnight. The man behind the desk was nice. Room was okay...plain and "boring." The heater made a clicking sound intermittently throughout the night... Not good for a light sleeper. There was a snack and beverage machine right outside our room- which was... More

I was trapped in this place by weather. $73 for a room for one and the place had biting insects (bedbugs?). I reported this to the front desk in the morning and was treated rudely and ignored. I offered to show the welts and the woman just turned her back to me and walked away. If you stay at this... More

This place should be shut down! Filthy rugs, pubic hair in the bed sheets along with yellow stains, water stains on walls and ceilings, windows with broken glass held together with onece clear tape but now yellow, small 19" tv, shower has poor caulking repaires, towels are old and raggerd and don't have any clean smell to them, we booked... The room was tired, worn, dingy carpet, wallpaper peeling, hooks on wall with picture missing. This place needs a big remodeling. Our non-smoking room smelled like a former smoking room. Next time I will drive on by.

Room was reeked of smoke, bed was made, but sheets were covered in pubic hair when we asked for fresh sheets we were given a balled up set of "fresh sheets" and told the water has a lot of iron in it?? This attracts pubic hair?? Listed as pet friendly NOT PET FRIENDLY! The management is from India, and I... More

Well it aint great but we've seen worse. On the up side, it was conveniently located near the truckstop and interstate, priced at $60-something plus 18% tax (?) Room had fridge and microwave and a pretty view out back. On the down side, everything is worn out, including staff. Needs a complete remodel/update including basic maintainence. Mgmt lacks "people skills."... More
