We spent one night at this wonderful B&B which has been renovated recently after a fire. Make sure you look through the before and after pictures, because you won't believe the amount of work that the owners faced. Each bedroom is decorated in a different color/theme, and there is an amazing attention to detail throughout the entire house. Breakfast was... More

We were recently married at the Webb Barn and reserved the entire Silas W. Robbins House for some of the wedding party and our family. Shireen and John were amazing hosts and were more than accomidating with any special request we had. The breakfasts were so filling and included fresh fruit and amazing fresh pancakes. The bridal party was able... More

My husband and I just spent our anniversary at the Silas W. Ribbins House in the Silas W. Ribbins. I was absolutely prefect. The history of the house is very interesting and painstaking renovation taken on by the Innkeepers, John & Shireen Aforismo, is just remarkable. Not a single detail was overlooked! The house is warm and inviting, the breakfast... More

Dear Shireen and John, We were guests at your magnificent B&B for two days at the 6 and 7 of October. My husband and I traveled the world over; we basically prefer B&B or Relais and Chataaux, whenever possible,( instead of hotels). Most of them are beautiful with its own style and hospitality but: Your House should take the highest... More

Wow!! The Silas W Robbins House B&B is absolutely amazing! A beautiful building with very lovely hosts. Our spectacularly decorated room was comfortable and clean and it had a picturesque view of Broad Street. Shireen's traditional New England breakfasts were also very delicious, The B&B is a 5 minute walk from Old Wethersfield, which has some very nice shops, bars... More

This B&B is just off the highway, so very convenient. It was lovingly restored. Breakfast was great. The owner was so helpful that, when the taxi was late, he prepared to drive the guest to the airport. Besides the usual amenities, it had tv and central air. Highly recommend it.

We had a splendid time on our recent visit to this extraordinary period B&B. Attention to both the broad experience and the smallest detail earmarked our time at the Robbins House, and we left very happy with our choice. We recommend it without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed at the Silas W. Robbins House while visiting relatives in Wethersfield. The décor, cleanliness, service, and overall atmosphere of this B & B are overwhelming. We have stayed many places world-wide, but the Silas Robbins House beats them all. Bravo to John and Shireen! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed at the Silas Robbins Inn over Easter Weekend. Our grandson was being christened at the Trinity College Chapel. What a surprise!! The Inn was fabulous. Impeccably clean and restored. Every room was immaculate and the bathrooms updated and had plenty of room. The Inn Keepers are so warm and welcoming. The breakfast offered in the... More
