We enjoyed our stay here. It is not fancy, but has a certain charm. It is clean and well-cared for. The staff answered all our questions and directed us with a map. The hotel is convenient to Foxwoods Casino and the Nautilus. Don't expect much in the way of breakfast, but the price makes up for that more

The Rodeway Inn is economy only. We stayed in a Queen bed, efficiency room. Pros: It is close to I95, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is in a quiet location, clean, and fairly well maintained. Breakfast was available with the room. It was simple, nothing fancy. Cons: It is all about economy. This is strictly a 'no-frills' hotel. The staff... more

Room was clean and spacious. We stayed because it was "pet-friendly" and were surprised to see how clean it was. The only thing that seemed unprofessional, was the staff. I said good morning to the lady at the desk when I went in to get coffee, and she didn't even acknowledge me. My fiance tried to ask questions at check-in... more

I booked this property by reading reviews on this site and I was not disappointed. The property is all it says it is. And the staff were great. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to visit the area. more

We recently spent 3 days at this place. First off, as others have mentioned, this is a no-frills motel commensurate with the rates. However, I must say that this place was clean, continually being rennovated and considering it's great location to Foxwwods, Mohegan (20 min) and the Mystic area, a good deal. The pool is small but clean and well... more

We only spent one night at the hotel. Overall impression was that of "OK". The staff was neutral, neither friendly nor rude. The room smelt damp initially, but half an hour of open windows cleaned it out. The linen was clean, the bathroom fine, the mattresses OK. The TV was on the smaller side, but it worked. Air conditioner was... more

I stayed at the Rodeway Inn when I was in the area to see a concert at Mohegan Sun. The Inn is a short drive from the casinos and was easy to get to. The rooms are big and include a large TV, fridge, and microwave. The beds aren't anything fancy (they have simple sheets and blankets), but they are... more

The first thing you have to understand about the Rodeway Inn is that it is just what the name suggests - a motel right off the highway. Once you have that firmly in mind, it's an excellent motel, you'd probably have a tough time finding a nicer one anywhere in Connecticut. Rooms are on two levels with additional parking int... more

Pluses include friendly and helpful staff; clean room; convenient location. Negatives include thin, old sheets, bedding and towels; poor shower temperature consistency and pressure; no clock in room; really bad coffee, skimpy continental breakfast. This was a decent value based on the location and Holiday timing. We would consider staying again depending on surrounding hotel availability. more

I would recommend this place! The price is great and the rooms were clean and roomy. Shopping and movie theather are near by and you can order in food from a variety of places. The front desk personnel were friendly, but beware of the 2 "guard" dogs. "Their bark is worse than their bite." It was a cold evening when... more
