I stayed at the Holiday Inn on East Main Street in Waterbury, Ct as I was attending a wedding. Because the hotel is so unorganized I missed all but 5 minutes of my Nephews wedding, plus the room and cleanliness left a lot to be desired more

We have stayed at multiple Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one did not meet our expectaions based on previous experience. The elevator doors took multiple attempts to close. The halls smelled stuffy. I didn't want to walk in the room barefoot. The bathroom was tiny. The towels and bedding were what would be expected in a Holiday Inn Express... more

Front desk staff friendly & helpful, no other staff seen. King bed room was clean. Posters all over stating that they were doing renovations. Phones are very fuzzy not a clear sound, tv old not a good picture but viewable. Business center had only one computer working but printer didn't work. Luckily I don't depend on others equipment to get... more

I was disappointed to see that the familar faces are all gone in this hotel. I have been a guest for several years and liked that this hotel felt like a home away from home. My room was clean, but the hotel seemed disorganized and caotic. I asked to see a manager and was told that one was not there,... more

I am a priority club member and I stay at Holiday Inn's on a regular basis. This Holiday Inn is currently in renovation but it is still fine. The carpet in the halls in dirty and stained but the rooms, or at least the room I had was fine. It was a king non-smoking. The room was large and clean.... more

Stayed here the other night. It was fine. The rooms were clean and the beds was comfortable. It is what you would expect a Holiday Inn Express to be, nothing more and nothing less. It is located downtown near St Mary's hospital and is surrounded by office buildings and parking garages. You need a car to go anywhere as any... more

I was very dissapointed in the customer service provided at this hotel. After checking in, I went up to my room and found the bathroom had not been cleaned. I went back down to the front desk and the person told me that she couldn't do anything about it because she was the only person there. I'm a platinum member... more

Stayed here overnight on July 22, 2005, to take a break from a long drive. Although the staff person (never saw more than one at the same time!) was pleasant and efficient, I found that the rooms were only fair (booked two doubles). The shower did not work well in either room; when one turned it on, water continued to... more

I have stayed in this hotel on 2 or 3 previous occasions, when it was the Quality Inn. I have usually stayed here for 2 weeks at a time, so can give a good overall indication of the standard to be expected. I made my reservation directly with hotel, very good comms. The hotel has undergone extensive alteration from the... more

My wife and I attended a Alison Krauss concert at the nearby Palace Theater. Turned out that it was an easy walk to the Theater from the Holiday Inn Express. Staff very helpful in giving directions. Room was pleasant, with free cookies and bottled water (at least I think they were free!). Breakfast was fine. more
