The hotel is in a weird and not very appealing location off the highway. It's an older property that is not aging all that well; the rooms are small and the breakfast area is cramped by Hampton standards. However, the front desk staff are helpful and competent -- and there don't seem to many choices in this part of Connecticut. More

If you long for the poorest and slowest internet since you received since you received AOL discs in the mail, this is your place. If having service is important, stay away. Most amenities to not meet current Hampton Inn standards found just about everywhere, but it is still not that bad, just a bit outdated. More

Hampton Inn has never disappointed us and it still has high marks with us. Great service and excellent accommodations. The staff was wonderful and was always happy to answer our questions about the area. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the train station which was so handy to go into New York City. More

We were traveling on rt 84 and needed a place to spend the night. The Hampton was clean and comfy with a friendly staff. Breakfast was good. We were happy that we stayed. More

I stayed here in June 2011 and found it to be okay. I've stayed at nicer Hampton Inns but also stayed at worse ones. The hotel is not near a lot of restaurants or other shopping areas, so as a person traveling alone for business, it may not be as enticing as another location. More
