Decided to go to KIllarney last weekend. Just for Saturday night as the weather was amazing. What an entrance to the hotel between the horses and the music playing for the Irish/portuguese wedding. Got a magnificently appointed room overlooking the gardens as all the gap view rooms were taken. Had dinner in the main dining room that night, it was... More

I had the pleasure of having my wedding at the Dunloe castle this past July! It was an enjoyable, stress free process. The managers, Jason Clifford and Dunkin were outstanding to work with! The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and well experienced at weddings. The food and service we had at our wedding was excellent, everyone raved about it. We... More

As part of a 9 day cycle tour of western Ireland a party of 13 stayed at The Dunloe on a Saturday night. From the Gentlemen who met us at the carpark and unloaded the luggage of all the riders to the secure lock up provided for the bikes. The reception desk staff were delightful and the personal escort to... More

This hotel is a real treat, every year at the end of the summer holidays my wife the kids and myself spend a couple nights in the Dunloe. Looking at it from a family point of view the hotel is perfect. The kids love the swimming pool, the horse riding, and the kids club. In the evening the restaurant puts... More

We just stayed here for 3 nights as a quiet break away. We booked a delux room which was beautiful & spacious. Hotel is nice, the gardens are fabulous and it was pretty peaceful. Most of the staff we met were great however we questioned the restaurant staff. As part of our deal we had dinner included which is just... More

I am just returned from an amazing family break in The Dunloe. It is easy to see how this hotel is five star. From the moment I arrived me and my family were met by warm courteous staff, there was a beautiful buffet for the kids at 5pm in the evening and straight after at 6 they were off to... More

Stayed for one night for a nearby business meeting. No tea making facilities in the room which is surprising, no mini bar and no shoe shine, not sure how this has a four star rating? Two single beds pushed together with separate duvets means I only had a single bed to sleep in. Upstairs outdoor smoking area was nice but... More

Really good hotel. Sumptuous rooms. Good quality food if a little expensive. Excellent staff. Wonderful location. Worth the price. Views from the front bedrooms over the Gap of Dunloe are stunning. Would recommend and return. Already planning next year.

Went here with my brother and sister and we ordered three Americanos and a sauvignon blanc . The coffee came out in very small cups, was cold and we had to ask for sugar. The biscuits were stale . All a bit surprising for a five star hotel . The price for all this was eighteen euros. This is far... More
