I stayed for two nights in March, 2014 while taking care of family business in Torrington. The location is beautiful and restful. The farmhouse is nicely decorated and the host & hostess friendly & helpful. The room (3rd floor) was spacious and comfortable with nice bedding. There were some problems: ---water pressure poor on 3rd floor, but I suppose this... More

The Inn at Mount Pleasant Farm has been open since November 2008. Since that opening there have been hundreds of guests from both the United States and other countries of the world. There has never been a single complaint regarding low water pressure or low water temperature. Since I received this notice I personally took a shower on the third... More

The Inn at Mount Pleasant Farm was a wonderful experience. I had the opportunity to personally view the home sites that are part Mount Pleasant. That weekend I decided to purchase one of the most beautiful home sites in Litchfield County. Since that time my luxurious dream home has been completed. If I had not stayed at the Inn at... More

We stayed here en route from Vermont to Rhode Island during our self drive tour of New England. Bob and Maggie were excellent hosts, welcoming us with a glass of wine and making us feel instantly at home and at ease. This is a nice, comfortable property which has been extensively renovated to its current standard of which Bob is... More

I grew up in the hills of CT and staying here is truly like coming home. It's a must stay place for visiting the Northwest corner and even the CT River Valley. Bob is a generous and fun host. The property is tidy and sweeping and full of treasured views and adventure. Close to town but far enough to hear... More

I have had 2 previous experiences at Bed & Breadfasts which were both pleasant. I am learning that each B & B has its own unique atmosphere and can be suited to various individuals according to specific needs and preferences. This Inn was exactly what my daughter and I needed at this point in time. Our second floor room overlooked... More

Mount Pleasant is a very unique place to visit. FRIENDLY, VERY CLEAN, PEACEFUL etc. The scenery is beautiful and after visiting with the Innkeeper you learn a lot about the origin of the PLACE. Breakfast is self serve which I enjoyed. I could piece or fix anything I like. I especially enjoyed talking with owner/innkeeper Bob and Maggie. They are... More

The other excellent reviews are speaking the truth. This place is wonderful. Very welcoming relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous setting. Having access to the kitchen was huge for me as I usually bring my own food. I ate breakfast with another guest and lingered over a 2nd cup of tea and good company. I sat on the lovely covered porch and... More

My wife and I stayed there for two nights this past weekend. It was probably one of the most relaxing stays I have had in a B & B. Beautiful rooms, well appointed. Bob and Maggie were perfect hosts - friendly and engaging without being intrusive. They obviously have a passion for the property that is reflected in the details... More

Bob and Maggie are wonderful. The rooms are excellent. The property is peaceful. The environment is welcoming and casual. Informal breakfast, barn and creek to explore, and relaxing fire at night all make for a great experience. I loved the casual breakfast set up because I don’t like to start the day while on vacation being told what time I... More
