I have traveled many places around the world and this was one of the worst experiences I have had. The room was dismal with a bed that sloped to the center and a heating unit that was extremely noisy. The advertised wireless internet kept dropping the connection, causing my daughter to miss a deadline, losing 6% of her grade. Parking... more

As an alum and a Huskies fan, I was in Storrs for a basketball game at Gampel. Can't beat the location, as it's the only hotel within miles of the arena and campus. Incredibly convenient. Can't believe they went so long without a hotel near campus! Check-in was simple and quick with friendly reception. Parking was secure, but pay for... more

Recently stayed at the Nathan Hale Inn while my daughter was attending her Orientation at UCONN. Got a great orientation rate for the one night. It did not include breakfast. I stayed in a King Size Handicapped Accessible Room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy access to everything on the UCONN campus. The staff were always... more

This is a great location as it is the only hotel physically on the UCONN campus, but signs getting to the hotel are lacking and you have to discern between a dorm and the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially as I checked in during a complete black out. The rooms are standard hotel rooms and the... more

The Nathan Hale Inn is conveniently located on the main campus at UConn. It is a modern facility that is very clean and well kept. Staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. We avoided the high prices at the restaurant downstairs by eating at the pub next door. The bar menu selection, the food and the prices were all very good.... more

This is the only "hotel" in the UCONN run town of Storrs. Being a captive audience keeps business pretty steady at Nathan. Although it is about $200 for a king room, the hotel almost lives up to that price. Amazing large Beds and pillows. Pretty good food! While I'm sure bad experiences were had, it really is the only option... more

This hotel is nice. We enjoyed it. It was clean and well kept. The cleaning staff kept our room well kept. The pool isn't staffed, so swimming with little ones can be a bit of work. All the staff were friendly, except a few desk staff. Many of them seemed young [college students perhaps?]. We asked about a good grocery... more

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. They had my reservation wrong. They had me for one night only. They did correct it. However, when I returned to my room for my second night, the key did not work. Then when I entered the room, it was not cleaned. When I called down to at least get... more
