I read some of the reviews posted here, but they must have re-done the hotel in the past year. I've been staying here a few days a week for the past 3 months due to business in the area. Everything in the room seems new and updated, the bed is really comfortable and all the bathroom fixtures including shower and... more

I stayed at this hotel last minute, and it was worth if for the money. It was $99 total (w AAA discount). We needed a place to spend the night close to NYC and this hotel was right off the highway about 30 minutes from the Bronx. The entire staff was very friendly and courteous from when we walked in... more

Stayed on night with Husband, Staff very nice and hotel very bright. Nice room, little small, but no king beds exist in the Hotel. My only big issue was the air conditioner/heater was very noisy, outside of that the room was cute. more

Worn out hotel. Should have known it was noisy when I saw ear plugs on the end table. Construction workers were having a poker game on the 8th floor and the smell of pot was everywhere. The staff, however was very good. more

This was the best 2-star hotel I've ever stayed in. I have stayed in 3-star places that were not as nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice. It had a small refrigerator, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, armoir, desk with chair, larger easy chair, & TV. The bathroom had lovely soft towels. The bath... more

I stayed here with my group over the Labor Day Weekend. Overall, the stay was ok. Didn't have any major issues, the staff was helpful, never rude, but keep in mind, this isn't a "full service" hotel. Housekeeping leaves at 5pm and there isn't anyone available to help with housekeeping issues after that. I had an issue, not the hotel's... more

I stayed here for a business trip and the room was filthy. I have stayed in plenty of 1 and 2 star hotels throughout the US and Europe. I can handle cheap, worn, tired, and dated. However, this was disgusting. Candy wrapper and food bits on the floor. Multiple hairs in the shower. Large red stain on one of the... more

This is the same hotel that used to be a Suisse Chalet and they have not made any noticible changes. The front desk people are very helpful. But the rooms are poorly set up and the cleaning people did not clean my room. They claim there was a do not disturb sign and thats why. But tthe biggest problem was... more

Horrible customer service. I had requested one more night stay and and by 12:15PM the front desk or either the supervise call me saying that I if I did not leave the room in 20 m they'd call the cops on me.I was terrified !Later on I found out that the front desk lady on duty on that day got... more

We stayed at the La Quinta for one night in July 2007 for a rate of $134 plus tax= $150 by booking at the hotel website with an AAA rate. I would have preferred to stay elsewhere, but it was a last minute booking and most other hotels were full. Anyway, as you can see from my pictures, the hotel... more
