The hotel is disgusting. The hall near my hotel was stained red, and the rooms were dingy and moldy. Its cheaper than the rest of the hotels around the area but I can defenitly see why. I would have rather paid the 30 dollars extra and slept somewhere clean. more

I had not expected much when I booked for this hotel. But was surprised that it was worse than I had thought. I arrived late and had to ring the doorbell for 5 minutes before someone opened the bulletproof door to let me in. I got a $80 rate that I thought a bit high even for being in the... more

I knew I was in trouble the minute I opened the door to the hotel and saw the bulletproof glass area for late night check in's. After receiving my room key I got in the elevator with a man carrying a 20 pack of beer. The hallway to my room smelled disgusting. The room was a decent size and was... more

I stayed here on business because that was where the company had us stay and it was the worst hotel i have ever been to. It looks very sketchy from the outside ( looks like a truck stop ) there was trash outside and the parking lot was not well lit so walking from their back lot to the front... more

This place is a dump. It stinks. Also, they charge $1.00 for the safe regardless of whether you use it or not. It did not have hot water when I showered, and is way over priced. When I asked why I was charged for the safe, they told me it was for security, and they would not wave the safe... more

Ok, so my boyfriend was coming to nyc to visit me for the weekend and we decided to stay at the Super 8, because it was close to bronx,ny (about 20-30 mins by car). The pricing was a lil too high (only cuz its a super 8, lol). Other than the pricing, we had a pretty decent stay there. The... more

I will start by saying that this hotel was decent enough for a one night stay. It was fairly clean, and seemed secure enough. But in reality it looked like a truck stop motel. It is right off an I-95 exit ramp in an industrial area of Stamford. There are little to no facilities in the hotel, the front desk... more

I stayed here in december 2005, it was ok. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was moldy. The bed was not comfortable, but the price was about $40.00 less than other hotels in area. more

Stayed here in july 2004-- the motel has its good and bad points; there is a computer w/ hi-speed internet in the lobby which is good; has a shuttle to the train station to get to NYC; but it doesn't have a pool and also it is a little pricey (70-85 bucks/night) for a super 8. The beds are very... more
