The hotel was great and very close to restaurants and shopping. We had a fabulous time and would definately stay here again. The restaurant and bar were both very good but I thought a little pricy ( $14 a martini) but were very good. The staff was great and very welcoming. The hottub needs some updaing painting it's definnately not... more

Just looking for a weekend getaway, I booked this hotel through Priceline (name your own price) for $45 per night. I was a little disturbed to read the report here on TripAdvisor about bedbugs, so I called the hotel and spoke with the front desk manager. She addressed my concerns very well and assured me that she would have our... more

So we pulled into the hotel entrance, exhausted after having just driven 6 hours. Ready for a shower & comfy bed, when we find out we had accidentally booked the OTHER Marriott in Stamford. The woman at check-in took care of canceling for us & rebooking with them. Phew! We even saved about $20. From that point forward everyone was... more

I am living in manhattan in a small apartment like many people do in the city, and I wanted to have a weekend getaway in a nice, comfortable place escaping from a busy city life. My friend from CT recommended stamford down town. After using a bidding site, I got the room with very resonable price. The hotel was nice,... more

Thank you for your feedback about our hotel. Stamford is a wonderful weekend getaway choice due to its close proximity to NYC(40 min). It's a great escape from the busy city anytime of the year! Don't forget that we are within walking distance to the Metro North station as well if you decide to take a train ride up from...

I'm disgusted. I stayed here for two nights and woke up after the second night with itchy bites on my left forearm. I also found a small bug on the sheets, which I later identified as a bed bug. By the time I got home, I had two dozen red welts all over my arms, neck, and back. I can... more

Recently, all hotels have faced an increase in bed bug claims that are of serious concern to guests and hotel operators alike. On the rare occasions when we are notified of a possible bed bug issue we respond immediately with a professional environmental expert to inspect the room. Sometimes they find that the claims are not legitimate, but when they...

One of the highest priced in the area plus be prepared to pay an additional $12 for parking and $10 a night for internet service. 5 Minutes away in Norwalk there are comparable hotels at 50% less with free parking, free internet service and less expensive dining. Example: Doubletree in Norwalk has almost identical rooms, a better Gym and indoor... more

Let me start with I've been a pretty diehard Starwood follower and have elite status with them for a while, but with them getting rid of hotels left and right in Stamford and CT the pickings were slim so I decided to give the Marriott a try. It was the best choice I ever made. The price was reasonable, yeah... more

We spent a night in 6 different hotels (either Marriott or Renaissance) over the coarse of a week. This was by far the best between Baltimore and Boston. more

We stayed at the Marriott for one night on a Saturday on our way north to Providence, RI. It was very convenient to I-95 and easy to find. We immediately pulled into the multi-story parking garage and took our things to the lobby to check in. The hotel is large with several large ballrooms and lobbies for events, so it... more

We stayed at the Stamford Marriot this past weekend for a hockey tournament. We stayed with about 15 families, and the hotel was excellent (as usual.) We arrived on Friday afternoon at around 5:00 PM. We pulled into the parking lot to park our car. The lot is a multi story parking facility where even guests must pay to park... more
