I and several other business colleagues stayed at this hotel and had an awful stay. First of all one of the guests bookings was lost. She arrived at 2am to be told she had no reservation but how about going to the hotel next door. She asked for directions and was told to leave the hotel and turn right and... More

Should be CLOSED until Renovations are completed. Upon arrival for a 2 night stay due to business I immediately was disappointed and frustrated. Parking is in a garage and getting your suitcases in the hotel is a joke, especially when you are trying to maneuver around workers and construction equiptment. Almost everything they have on their website, does not exist.... More

I had the worst experience at this hotel that I have ever had. The restaurants are open. The choices for food was pizza or chinese for delivery. The pool was small & my suite had no door to the shower

I had read all the mixed reviews and didn't know what to expect. I found the hotel to be in the late stages of renovation, but I didn't see anyone doing any work. The rooms were new and clean. The front desk agents were friendly, couretous and helpful. I knew there wasn't a restaurant on site so that was fine.... More

Tip the unhelpful staff won’t tell you – Bypass their lobby breakfast, and go down the enclosed corridor to the breakfast room. Stamford Plaza set up a small, inadequate spread in their big lobby. You could come by and stand by a table, where you could pick up a coffee or orange juice and a pastry. However, down the hallway... More

I stayed recently on a business trip and I couldn't have been more pleased, or impressed with my room. It was in brand new condition and very spacious and well appointed. The Starbucks in room coffee was a very pleasant diversion from the usual in room offerings, and the walk in tiled shower was elegant indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed my... More

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Lobby area is nice and convenient parking. Also close to many restaurants. The hotel is a bit dated and noticeable despite the upkeep. Bed was very comfortable.

Traveling on business in Stamford on June 11th. The room was booked by someone else so I didn't know anything about this hotel, but checked it out on TA before my arrival and noticed a number of bad reviews. The hotel is connected to the HI Express, and at present you enter and check in through the HI Express lobby.... More

My experience at this hotel was horrible!!! My first night there I went to turn my television on it was not working. I had to call the front desk (at one in the morning) for someone to fix the problem. The room was uncomfortably cold, and that's with the air off! I had to sleep with my running sweater on... More
