Very large, friendly place. Visited friends who stay there. Lots to do. Using golf carts and ATVs to get around, when you're not used to it, is a lot of fun. It's labeled a campground but the land is individually owned and the camps are permanent unless the owners change or update them.

We had come here for a surprise birthday party. When you arrive you find yourself laughing at the idea of a beach club in the middle of Connecticut but then you see the sand beach around the lake. The resort has camping (no hotel), swimming and lots of outside activities. They have concerts during the summer for music around the... More

We have never stayed there, but our friends have loved it! Located off Rt 91 off Rt 32 it is a 35 minute drive from... More

We came to Sun Valley for a celebration of life memorial gathering. I loved the location! Very well maintained and scenic grounds. The building was average. It would have been nice to have a little more ambiance in the room we used. The food was better than expected. Often the food is dry or the veggies are mushy when served... More

I have been to Sun Valley many, many times over the last 25+ yrs..My brother and sis in law used to teach karate there and had karate tournaments there. I used to cater the buffet dinners after the tournaments, and everyone there went out of their way to be as helpful as possible. This past weekend, we went back to... More

As I cannot write to the specifics of the campground itself I will leave a review Bout our wedding. Sun valley has two different halls in which they host events. They cater and provide linens and alcohol. The food was wonderful. Every detail was taken care of by mandy!! The hall on the water is a beautoful setting. We loved... More
