I've stayed in the Courtyard Shelton several times. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I did learn, though, to ask for a room that is not facing the main street (Bridgeport Ave) as there are trucks that travel back and forth, and, if you are a light sleeper, they will wake you up. If you ask for a... more

This hotel was a nice stop on my way to PA for the weekend. It was all up to date, modern and comfortable. Flat screen tv, new air condioner, modern coffee maker and a fridge in the room. It was not to far off of 95, but my GPS decided to take me there in a crazy way that added... more

My colleagues and I stayed at this place a couple of times and all of us agreed that the hotel rooms were a bit creepy. The hotel rooms weren't particularly clean and looked rather worn out. There weren't much to be seen near the hotel either; except a small plaza and a Ruby Tuesday across the street. That's about all... more

This place was nice -BUT the town is Shelton and it caters to buisness people so they jack up the price. I grew up in Shelton, its not a tourist area or anyhing so to have a pricey hotel with pricey vending food and a 4 dollar bottle of water in your room is ridiculous. The people who worked there... more

DISGUSTING!!! This is not my first stay her I use to love it. I dont know if it is new management or new staff. The front desk staff use to be really friendly. I don't know what happened, but I must say a gentelman named Don is especially nice. The others though DO NOT know how to speak to a... more

This had to be the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Lets start with my late check in and I had to wait at the desk for someone to come for atleast 10 minutes. Then I ran up to room to drop my luggage off so I can grab something fast to eat downstairs. Got to my room to find... more

The service is courteous and efficient as expected. The entire hotel is non-smoking which makes the air clean throughout the premises. They have a nice bar, and restaurant downstairs. There's nothing else to really mention besides the spaciousness and general Marriott comfort. They definitely maintain the high standards here. more

Stayed a night at the Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, and it was better than I expected. The bed was comfortable, the decor was charming, and the room was very clean. There is a bar on the first level, and it was nice to sit at the bar and chat with the bartender and a few patrons before we turned... more
