As a federal government employee, I am requested to ask that the hotel waive local taxes from final billing. First I was informed by reception that this is not done for one night stays. My agency that this does not make sense and ask someone else which I did the next morning at check out. I was be a different... More

I liked the parking underground with the snow storms. I liked the breakfast omelets on the house. The bar was okay but the bartender was a bit unfocused as far as all the customers. Good Hotel, But remember it is the lower end of the Hyatt Chain and you will not be disappointed.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights with my family as part of our roadtrip. My kids (5 years old) loved the pool and swam there every day. We enjoyed the daily complementary breakfast (with the omelet bar) and Starbucks coffee/Tazo tea. Both the room and the lobby/breakfast area were beautifully decorated. We stayed in a standard room (without the... More

This hotel looks brand new, it couldn't be more than a year. The staff seems well trained, cheerful and very helpful. The layout and vibe is similar to the Hyatt Place but perhaps has more room in the lobby area which includes a small bar and restaurant. The room was perfect, clean and spacious. I didnt care for the duvet... More

The hotel is very nice, decor is updated, clean. Breakfast was great, really good free wifi. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, nice mall about 15 minute drive. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Definitely would stay again!

My family and I stayed here over Thanksgiving. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The rooms were bright, clean and comfortable, although we did experience some issues with our heating. We love the foyer entrance which is warm and welcoming, a sharp contrast to the cold outside in November. It was a nice stay. My... More

This was our first time staying at a Hyatt House. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The lobby is very cozy and there is a bar. The room was very big. The beds were very comfortable and I got a great night sleep. They have a computer room and 24 hour café. I would defiantly... More

We had a long stay at the Hyatt Shelton while in between homes for a month. The staff at this hotel are amazing -- it's immaculately kept and comfortable- and did we mention the staff are amazing? We had our 13 month old in a hotel for a month and she got used to bopping around reception to say hello... More

My husband and I spent 5 night at this hotel and could not have been more pleased. It is reasonably priced for the upscale amenities. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was well above average. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.
