stayed here this year, absolutely loved it. Couldn't have had a better experience. My wife and I stayed for two nights and it was great. Tons of activities going on in the Northwest corner of Connecticut.

AS you can see the name is ragamont inn bed and breakfast. There is NO breakfast at this place.Therefor do not consider this place as a B&B. Additionally the owner contacted me on the day of travel to inform me he made a mistake with my reservation and will have to move me to an inferior and totally unacceptble room.... More

If you find the need for a room in Salisbury, you cannot find a more comfortable and welcoming stay than Ragamont House. It is essentially a very laid back experience, but every detail has been closely attended to. It is a little difficult to make contact here, as Peter Hathaway, the warm, gentle, and informative proprietor, is a one man... More

We were lucky to obtain rooms due to a last minute cancellation at Ragamont House in Salisbury during a very busy holiday and Lime Rock Race weekend. The House was welcoming and relaxed with beautiful decor which was much appreciated since the race weekend can be chaotic at other area hotels/inns. Would love to go back to spend more time... More

Exquisitely appointed rooms to relax in, charming town of Salisbury at your fingertips, gentle countryside surrounding you. What more do you want? Oh, the excitement of Tanglewood's summer offerings in music and the arts. And local Hotchkiss and Salisbury schools adding summer cultural programs. We were warmly welcomed with a taste of the macadamia brittle the chef was preparing as... More

My wife and I had the great good fortune to be invited to the Ragamont for the rehearsal dinner before and the post wedding brunch after our son's wedding last week. The setting was absolutely superb, the decor befitting a man who spent years with Sotheby's, very tasteful. We ate in the garden and the food and service were totally... More

My wife and I stayed at the Ragamont last year when a friend was getting married in the area. We have stayed at many b and b's and this one was very nice. It was a relatively quiet time and we stayed in the blue room. The one thing I was a little peeved about was that there was a... More

Many years ago I had the good fortune to eat lunch at what was then the Ragamont Inn in Salisbury, Connecticut. I was 8 years old, so most of those details escape me. Between then and now, the Inn had closed and was left mostly unattended and uncared for. A few years ago it was purchased by Pete Hathaway, a... More
