Good rate for the area. We needed a place to stay the night after a wedding in East Haven. Since some of our members were heading to Hartford Airport the next day, Rocky Hill was a good location. Got there about 11:00 pm and attendant was very nice and accommodating. Local Catholic church was another plus for Sunday morning.

This hotel was exactly what I expected. Rate was very low. Rooms were older but clean. Breakfast was bagels. Staff was very friendly. If you need a room for a night or two while on the road this place works. Just don't expect a 4 star hotel when you are paying for a 2 star.

Clean, courteous, convenient, affordable...all are accurate accolades for this establishment, but what has kept me returning to the Rocky Hill Howard Johnson Express Inn is how safe and secure I feel when I stay at this establishment. I can't think of a better recommendation.

When visiting family in Connecticut, we always stay at the Rocky Hill Howard Johnson Express. This facility is well run - clean rooms; good selection of breakfast items; friendly and attentive manager/owner; outstanding service and great rates. We also like having internet access and a refrigerator in the room. Highly recommend!

I stay at this "HoJo's" a few times a year, when in the area with friends. We used to stay at another hotel nearby, but have found that Hojo's is our favorite because the price is reasonable, the rooms are very clean, and the management is always welcoming and attentive.
