My family and I spent the night at the Hampton Inn in Rocky Hill, CT after taking in a baseball game in Norwich, CT, and the night before yet another game in New Britain. When we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed that there were about 100 motorcycles parked in the lot, and a few interesting characters hanging out... more

This is a fairly non-descript but clean and reliable chain hotel. It was an extremely hot day when we arrived, so the kids were eager to use the outdoor pool. The pool is well-maintained and adequately sized. There were at least ten people in the pool, and it didn't feel overly crowded. Also, the pool is at the end of... more

Stayed here one night last week for some work I was doing in the South Hartford area. In advance I did a search for Hilton and Marriott properties within a 20-mile radius that had availability and were under $200/night. This was the only one which fit the bill and I'd stay here again easily. Location was convenient to I-91 and... more

A very typical Hampton Inn which is not a bad thing. Was quiet and pleasant. Very convenient to Route 91 and to many restaurants and stores. more

We have stayed at Rocky Hill Hampton Inn quite often in recent months. The hotel staff are very friendly and efficient. We find that the rooms are clean and quite comfortable. We really enjoy the breakfast and find their room rates reasonable. It is worth the travel from Foxwoods Casino to stay there! more

This hotel is well above average compared to similar hotels. We stopped for one night passing through on the I91. The staff were welcoming and efficient, the room clean and adequate. There is a free buffet breakfast the following morning (very similar to Holiday Inn Express). We would use this hotel again if we needed to stop in this area. more

Overall the hotel did not have the feel of other Hampton Inn's we have stayed at. One of the smaller rooms we have seen. It appeared that new doors had been hung but the locks were smaller than the old ones so the doors rattled. Noise from other rooms and outside the hotel was noticeable. That said the hotel was... more

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and it was an above average experience compared to other 2-star hotels. Staff were friendly and very helpful, room was clean but otherwise average. Breakfast was great. Overall, a good value. This is a good choice if you are passing through and need a place to sleep, as it is very convenient to... more

We stopped here overnight on the way to Newport. The lobby and elevators have recently been refurbished and are very smart and modern, but sadly the rooms have not yet been done. The furniture and the whole look was from the 1980's with no real attempt at warmth, and the corridor was very smokey. That said, everything was clean and... more

Front Desk Staff at this hotel is wonderful. They were very friendly both in phone calls before arriving and upon arrival - especially Katie and Lynne. Rooms were well sized with micro-fridges in them. Great perk! (Microwave plus small fridge). They also have free wireless internet - so bring your laptop! The bedding was great - very comfy! The walls... more
