Celebrated our anniversary this past weekend. Were treated to an overnight stay by our daughters and stayed at the Junior Suite. Food was excellent. Atmosphere very romantic and old style. It is an older Inn so I wouldn't expect high end luxuries. Grounds are beautiful. Room was large and nice though out dated. Bed was too firm for me and... More

Foliage in Connecticut plus a B & B should equate to a better experience than our weekend at Stonehenge. Unfortunately, despite a lovely setting complete with a pond, the room needed serious updating. We were in the guest house behind the main building because we wanted a king size bed. There are no kings in the main building. Like others... More

The setting of the Stonehenge Inn is lovely, especially in Autumn. We stayed in the Guest House. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable sitting area. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were very hard. The bathroom was well equipped but the fiberglass tub/shower needed a makeover. The entire suite was dated and looked worn. The carpet was... More

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here. We were looking for something quite and relaxing. It was quite alright, there was one other family staying there for the weekend, no other guests. The grounds were well kept and pretty however, I was very disappointed with our room. Upon opening the door, there was a very strong musty odor,... More

Was referred to the inn by another- fully booked- inn. Where should I start? Doug, the owner, was at best disinterested. Towels were harsh and paper thin, bathroom desperately in need of an update, pillows of foam, and the continental breakfast, really a shortcoming. Unceremoniously left outside the door between 8 and 8:30 (the inn's timing) with a microwave heated... More

Stayed here overnight for an event at the local barracks. We had advised them that we may be late arriving due to the distance and they were so helpful even offering to stay up until we arrived. We arrived just before closing but were served a drink at the bar before being shown to our room. This was adequate, we... More

Spent a great night at Stonehenge Inn after after arriving from time in Paris. The staff were exceptionally friendly and all went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. The Carvery meal was great value and is a credit to the chef, both in presentation and taste - great range to select from. Spent the night in... More

I had a meeting in Ridgefield and looked for a hotel. After I read the critics here on Tripadvisor, I was a bit worried whether the Stonehenge Inn would be the right choice. It was. It is a lovely place. The Stonehenge Inn is a hotel with character. The restaurant is great, the service familiar and the atmosphere sterling. The... More

A conference put us up at Stonehenge. We had stayed there many years ago and remembered it fondly. They put us in the guest cottage, which has very spacious, lovely rooms. Unfortunately, things did not go so well. The couch etc. were threadbare, the bed was once a fine bed but now is hard and lumpy, there is no wifi... More
