The Days Inn at Ridgefield, Ct. is where I always stay when attending a concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse. My friend and I stayed in the 2 King bed room. It was nice and big and the beds were actual kings. For $109 a night I thought it was a decent rate considering what all the B&Bs are charging in... more

Having had great experiences with motels in California we decided to book one for the last night of our 3 week holiday around New England. Unfortunately, this place was so bad that we declined to stay, despite having paid upfront. Both rooms we had booked smelled of urine and both had numerous flies buzzing around. The bathrooms were not hygenic... more

Rude owners...rude staff...dirty rooms...out of the way location. Need I say more? Well, I will ... the owners overcharged us and then were belligerent and non-apologetic when it was pointed out ... made every excuse in the book ... it was only $10 and so not worth arguing over, but if they took $10 from us, they'll probably take $10... more

Had no problems with the staff, they were pleasant. The room, 1 king, nice but small. The bathroom shower had a rubber hose with a shower head, the type you would buy at Wal-mart. The breakfast area only had two small tables and selection of food limited. The bananas where spotted brown, the muffins where cut into quarters. I have... more

Just to add to my mothers review... although the room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable, the hospitality was less than friendly (the host had about as much charm as road kill). The couch in the room had a large tear in the arm which was covered by duct tape. The carpet was becoming unattached to the kitchen... more

My daughter and I arrived just before 11 p.m. after a long flight into JFK, then an equally long drive from JFK to Ridgefield. We were greeted by a 'gentleman' wearing a tatty t-shirt, who showed less than enthusiasm for his job. We were hungry - there was no food available anywhere whatsoever, he advised us, only soft drinks from... more

Yes, it IS convenient, but it was pretty bad. I was only staying one night. The place was dumpy, room really small, and kind of smelly. Very drunk people tried to get into my get in my room for an hour at 3:00am, they were using the wrong keycard. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and there was a pretty... more

We reserved two rooms at this hotel three weeks in advance and confirmed the reservation a week before our stay. We arrived at 2 a.m. (they were informed we would arrive after midnight) and were given a key to a room that was occupied - much to the surprise of us and the people in the room! When we told... more

The inn has been updated and our room was very nice. The owner - manager was on site and very accommodating to our room request. The price was great at $80 per night. I highly recommend! Phoenix, AZ more

When we arrived at the hotel (really an old-fashioned motel with outside entrances to the rooms) we were told that our reserved room type had been assigned, so we were being upgraded to a king jacuzzi room. The room did indeed have a large and impressive-looking red, heart-shaped jacuzzi. When we turned it on, what appeared and smelled to be... more
