Reasonably priced and right off the highway. Friendly night clerk. Clean room with comfortable bed. Microwave, mini fridge, 42" TV and plenty of storage for suitcases etc. All in all a a fair deal at a fair price though I wouldn't come for the view.

As for the motel itself, overall it wasn't bad. Nice sized clean room with microwave and fridge. Nice location. Here are the downsides from just my perspective. I got a smoking room, which ended up like a basement to me. I looked out the window and I saw tires from the cars in the parking lot. Not really a big... More

Traveling with cats can be tough, but thankfully this place allowed the cats. It was a last minuet stop on our way to New Hampshire. I was worried at first because the hallway smelled horrible (smoke). Our room smelled fresh with a fruity smell. The motel is a bit older and with some TLC in the future it has the... More

Clean room, near route 8 and only 45 minutes from Bridgeport Ferry. We needed a place to stay as we grew tired and didn't have a hotel in mind until last minutb We checked in 20 minutes after booking via our Ipod internet access....great to be received so promptly. Good AC! Only 59 dollars...plus tax.....continental breakfast was really nothing to... More

We spent the night when traveling from Maine to New Jersey. We selected the EconoLodge because of the location and their pet friendly status. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and accommodating manager, the cleanliness and comfort of the room. After a good night sleep, we had an okay breakfast and were on our way. Oh yeh, the cat... More

My husband and I were in Connecticut for the vow renewal for my brother in-law and his wife. He was in hospice care so It was also the last time we would see him so we really didn't care where we stayed. In hindsight, we should have... • Construction on roof made parking confusing and entering slightly dangerous • System... More

Have stayed here several times in the past few years for a decent room at a reasonable price. This time, the room has been redecorated and it was clean and neat. The breakfast was skimpy as only 1 bagel, 3 waffles and 6 slices of white bread were available, no fruit, orange juice and coffee. However, Dunkin Donuts and Burger... More

Stayed here on my way back to New Jersey from Boston. The motel is just off I-84 south of Hartford. I got to the motel after dark and it was raining. I was lucky to find a spot near the front door although there appear to be very few convenient spots. Most appear to be on the side of the... More

Staff says a LOT about a hotel ! Older property - but clean. Truck & trailer parking in back. Wifi and cable tv. Bed and bath average. Average breakfast. I am on the road driving a pick up truck and trailer over 300 days a year in all lower 48 states. I usually get o.k. service at a hotel. I... More

What a convenient location. Just off I-84. Plenty of restaurants and a high quality theater within walking distance. Comfy and Cozy rooms. Microwave and fridge, as well as the extremely dependable Wi-Fi, made this a very comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a few small issues that were immediately resolved. That kind of attention is not... More
