I recently stayed at Dave & Mary's charming B & B - and it couldn't have been lovelier! The room was large and comfy with every amenity. Dave & Mary were wonderful and charming - and made us a fabulous breakfast of pancakes and homemade maple syrup! I wish I had found them sooner, as my son lived in the... More

My partner and I stayed with Mary and Dave for 2 nights in March and could not have been more pleased with their hospitality and accommodations. This B&B has such warmth and character, and the breakfasts were just delicious. This comfortable retreat is just what one might think of when considering the perfect Connecticut getaway. Thanks again to our gracious... More

The proprietors are among the most friendly and helpful that my wife and I have met. We arrived from I-84, which is close by, to find snacks, including chocolate cake! The room was fine and historic, but the amenities are first class and modern (nice shower, flat screen TV, etc.). The breakfast was just what my wife loves, and included... More

I wasn't sure about this B&B because of only one previous review but we were very pleasantly surprised to discover a warm welcome from practiced and pleasant innkeepers and a large comfortable room at the Captain Josiah Cowles Place. Located conveniently off the interstate but in a quiet neighborhood, it was the perfect place to spend a night after a... More
