Typical Fairfield, free breakfast and wifi. The hot tub was lukewarm, no fun for me. fridge and microwave in the room is a plus. OK for a motel type stay. The staff was nice. The swimming pool was nice and clean.

Stayed here 1 night. The room was very clean. We had a king executive suite that also had a pull out sofa bed. They have a pool and jacuzzi that are both indoors. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Plainville, Connecticut was a great hotel for our needs during our 1 Night Stay to visit Central Connecticut State University. The hotel is very clean and modern. Stayed at this hotel for points while visiting family prior to taking a 2 month cross country trip. We have stayed here before and find the rooms to be better than average, clean with comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly. Especially enjoyed conversing with Nancy at breakfast both mornings. She really makes you feel at home.

Having realized that when going to NYC for the weekend, we can maximize our time by getting a head start on Friday night, this hotel is an ideal place to break up the trip.
